I've got a question for the audiophiles in the crowd. I've got a pair of Beyer DT 770 80 ohm headphones. I need an amp to get the quality out of the headphones, so I'm wondering if the Pro works with an amp. It's got the usb ports, but it might not recognize/activate the amp.

A friend of mine said he got it to work with a portable amp plugged into the controller's 3.5 jack. Is there another option, or is this my best bet?

I love Gravity Rush so far (opened the 4th part of the city), but the Nier demo is also a lot of fun (even as I know jack shit about the whole Nier universe, the MC just looked cool and the hype got me interested), and now I don't know which one should be my next purchase, GR 2 or Nier? In GR I like the story and the characters, while Nier looks a little bit lifeless and emotionless, while the combat and the action is better.

I'm also struggling because I don't know which might have and what kind of an influence on my young daughter if she would end up playing with one.

I feel like this is true, and it disgusts me more than most of their bullshit despite it being a hypothetical. I'm not a person that feels like a worthwhile game can be considered art because of the considerations and concessions that have to be made for it to be any good as a product, but Okami is as close as anything has ever been. Kamiya had a team that seemed fairly united in its vision, and despite some problems it felt like a genuine, very personal expression of love and pride in one's culture and history that also succeeded as a game, which made for a beautiful experience that has stuck with me for 12 years.
