We see that Lucian and Renekton are popular and strong again right. But really if we compare old renekton and old lucian to their new (nerfed) forms that are now in the meta. The old ones would crush the new ones. But the thing is this isn't only about rene/lucian. Its about probably 90% of the league champ pool. Old corki would straight up murder the new one so would old nidalee with the new one or old zed vs new zed. If the cycle keeps happening again in 3 years we will be playing basically buffed caster fucking minions. How is this fucking ok? That shouldn't stop you from playing him into melee top laners though, the meta doesn't really matter until you hit Diamond 3+ (arguably), you can scrape by on mechanics and familiarity with a champion until then. Mundo is also possibly one of the funnest champions in the game depending on your skillshot accuracy and build path.

Azir is cool in that he doesn't fall off at all in late game, compared to other mages, but he's a prime target for bullying during lane phase and it can a while to really get a build going, even under the best conditions. With that said, he can easily keep his distance and stay safe while farming and pushing thanks to Shifting Sands.

The most important aspect of playing him is to become intimate with the Sand Soldier mechanic so you're never put in a position where your soldiers can't hit a priority target or get you to safety. Oh, and developing tolerance for long ass matches and bullying.

In an equal skill match up, yasuo would win. Stack up Q and tornado Ahri and bring her HP down, all in her level 6. If you land a tornado and ult, immediately windwall to block charm and it's a free kill. It's also easy to bait out Ahri's charm with E-Q.

With that said, playing Riven just feels really good to the point of impairing decision making. She makes you feel happy and confident while her combos give you a false feeling of power. She naturally makes you spam Broken Wings and Valor for mobility, so you get used to blowing her cooldowns on a whim. Add that to the potential for cheesy low level kills and you can see why someone might get a little greedy.

I'd say just engage on the enemy in that situation, try to make a pick, you're play Evelynn, it's what you do. You can usually burst down a squishy if you're bulding AP.

Spam pinging objectives in a non-passive-aggressive way also helps, as well as not tilting. Just mute everyone and don't even bother pushing enter.

I honestly don't even think titanic hydra would be worth the gold. If you build AD, which would make room for titty hydra, it would make you completely irrelevant until you've got one or two items completed, unless you go AP and just build it later in the game but even then you'd have to be insanely ahead.

I find it's just easier to focus on snowballing off of runic echoes (cheap af boost to your damage early that also helps your clear), rather than hard-farming for my AD build and dying in lane or being unable to gank completely because I have comparatively very little damage early.

Maybe some people can make AD Eve work but I literally can't/won't do it, it's just too risky for me, especially considering that when you're behind as Evelynn, you're *BEHIND*.

She desperately needs a rework desu, Evelynn is really fun to play but she is really one-dimensional and doesn't really have a place in the game as it is today.

There's really no counter or build to a shitty team, you just have to either ask someone to splitpush or let jesus take the wheel and make that pick.

Trundle only needs the sustain early on though, by the time Darius got executioners calling Trundle would be building armor so Darius can't kill him anyway or more optimal damage items.

And even with executioners calling Trundle just needs to sit down a bit far away from Darius, use his W and recover health pasively. Executioners calling only works if you're hitting him, and Darius has no tools to hit an opponent that just sits back unless he flashes.

And even through all of that, Trundle isn't even dependent on sustain to beat Darius 13 minutes in, he'll just destroy him anyway.

Only way Darius could possibly win the matchup is if Trundle is a retard who keeps trying to trade hard during the first few levels.
