Alright so I haven't played this game in like 8 months or someshit.
I remember NOTHING.
These are all my 5star weapons. My team is Faris, Eiko, Serah, Kain, and Vincent.
Should I use a soul or whatever to replace someone on my team and use one if these weapons? Should I hit a banner?
Side Note: I have 137 Mythril, 2.5 million gil.

How practical is Freya's Spear SSB to BSB combo? I just noticed that one of my recent draws was her BSB and had already gotten her SSB Spear. Theoretically with her infused with wind, the BSB should do max damage. Any HP left would do great with the Attack BSB command to a 5* jump ability, recovering ability uses with the Defend BSB command.

Am I correct that this would do really really well?

For XI raid? The group needs to be mixed, as after a little while the boss will shift from being immune to physical to magic; repeating for the rest of the battle. His counters can hurt if there are attacks lined up whilst he is shifting in between forms. Affliction Break works fine enough, but have to time the hits just right.

Today we have a free 1x draw plus nearly 100 free mythril for 3 11x draws, so if you can make throwaway gmail accounts or something you can do some rerolling. Soul Break relics to watch out for:

This is my best guess, so please bear with me. Each character was able to get at least two turns in before he swapped to the other form. Towards the end of the battle, pubs had their various soul breaks ready to go as soon as the form switched to favor their attacks.

As mentioned in the other post, he will switch into form changes after some time has passed since the start of the battle. His meter didn't go down much in this apocalypse pub raid, and I'm not sure about the exact time he stays in the starting state. You can hit him with both magic and physical attacks at this starting stage, though.

Not so sure about Freya, but Kain BSB is very fun to use. Command 1 reduces air time for two turns. Smart-ether on command 2 means you don't really need to hone 5* dragoon skills up if you don't want to. Lightning Dive is the natural compliment to that Burst, but you don't have to limit yourself to just that ability.

I've gotten 2 of both Sephi's burst and now his glove, so I really don't need the extra OSB but part of me really wanted it. That said, a USB and OK's makes up for it. And that sounds neat, I might level him just for my general use then, don't have a whole lot of good Dragoons except for Gilgamesh, and for whenever the After Years event drops and we get his wardrobe.

I put off continuing FF5 for a good couple days and now seems like a good time to change it. Tried to get some side stuff but failed outside of getting one blue magic spells and now i'm returning to the plot and with no spoiler picture to accompany it.

Unless you're equipping the masamune, having 2 support cards will limit you a lot.
Also, I'm not sure if youre meaning to say "card slots" in your deck, or you're actually talking about your deck slots.
If that's what you're talking about, I wouldn't recommend you specialize each deck on a single element because if you find a strong enemy party that's the same elemet as your deck you're going to have a hard time.

Tyro USB and the BSBs are all pretty solid. The OSBs are fine enough (I'm biased though), and all of the SSBs should have elemental boosts to them. Everything seems really useful, but duplicate relics could sour the banner for you.

DESU I don't do hard difficulty unless I'm grinding to lvl up a card lvl or skillseeds and the place where I'm grinding on normal isn't giving the highest skillseed multiplier on normal.
the prizes don't change at the end if you used normal or high difficulty so there's really no reason to do it other than to think you're flaunting your epeen(you aren't)

Castle Exdeath is a gearcheck and a jobcheck.
If you need to change jobs/abilities or weapons inbetween fights, you should do it.

Exdeath can take a couple tries until you finally get down a proper setup for him.
He's still kind of an asshole though.

Those levels look good, they're higher than mine usually are. The dragons are pretty hard to deal with even for experienced players. Try to run from them if possible, or use the Ninja's Smoke ability for an instant escape.

You can cheap out the floors by having one of your party job change into a Geomancer while you walk over them, then switching back once you're off. Geomancers make the party immune to terrain effects.

The only place where I know for a fact that drop rates increase with difficulty is pleaiades lagoon and it has nothing to do with the difficulty setting because it doesn't care what setting you have, its difficulty is set by the amount of stamina.

I had never heard about this "first time completion bonus" and have never seen it other than in chaos vortex, but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with what difficulty you have set.

Well /ffg/, I'm done with both RK and BE. I realised it was getting to be more of a chore than a game, having to log in constantly to expend stamina/nrg. It was fun running MP raids with anons and maybe I'll pick one or both games up again in the future if I have more time. I'll still drop by if I'm doing any LPs though.
