Overall i really liked this lore update, even though i'm not a fan of the Ez x Lux retcon. But Vayne's background and short story is so fucking bad now holy shit. Before, her Huntress/ Van Helsing archetype was the main reason i wanted to learn how to play her. Why cant I even get to a 45% win ratio? Like no shit Ive watched every single ls video, I practice cs in customs, watch replays, and even have a mentor from reddit to help during laning phase. Pro tip if you do play it don't use the starting weapons. They're all good but they just feel like Dark souls weapons but into Bloodborne. If you want the real shit go either the wheel, Blades of Mercy or others of that ilk to remove as many training wheels as you can. Once you embrace the hyper fast combat and get into the groove it's fantastic. Also the parry trivializes the game so try not to rely on it either

There are no projectile spears in DS3 except for maybe the Dragonslayer SwordSpear but it's only available super late.
