The adventure itself is called one night in kara

What party themed cards are there?

Just run 1 drop beasts, you have plenty of great ones to choose from, and you can still slot in Golakka crawler with no issues whatsoever because it counters pirate decks while activating skill command and houndmaster

I think 10-11 is a much safer number to roll with.

Because it isnt just the 1 drops you're looking at hitting as you play, but Tol'Vir Wardens (Which not only help you complete your quest, but buff your top decks as you transition into "Midgame") and tracking as well.

If you make all the 1 drops beasts then you can run Smuggler's crates to make up for the tempo loss you get from playing tracking/tol'vir warden.

E.g. Quest t1, smugglers crate + alley cat t2 (2 mana for a 3/3 beast, battlecry summon a 1/1 beast. Better stats than a 3 drop)

As long as you have 11 1 drops, then you can safely tracking twice and not worry about discarding too many 1 drops to complete the quest.

Then your midgame plan can revolve around playing big beasts (Queen into Highmane into King into possibly even Sand Worm and King Kush. Maybe even slotting a princess huhuhuran in there somewhere) or abusing the raptors cycle powers.

E.g. Buzzard into raptor = draw 2. If one of those is a raptor its draw 2 more. And so on
Paired with tundra rhino and you get the cycling raptors coming out on the board with charge.


Its a HELL of a lot of gas for hunter, a class that usually runs out of locomotion at that point in the game and relies on their highmanes not getting countered.

Idea to make tech cards more viable instead of dead cards when you don't run into their prey - give them an alternate battlecry if their main one (destroy weapon, destroy secrets etc) can't activate. For example:

That works for Ooze because a 3/2 2 drop is acceptable. A 2/4 4 drop like Eater of Secrets, on the other hand, is a considerably weaker play than a 3/2 2 drop. That's twice the mana for one extra stat.

Depends on what you're playing. You're probably meant to be using cheep minions with battlecries/combos like Swashbuckers, or maybe the 2 mana 1/1 draw a card guy. You can easily build a deck full of cheap minions , board control, card draw, and ways to bounce your minions, then use the power boost as the deck's win condition, swarming the field with 5/5s as soon as it's fulfilled.

They're too lazy and stupid to create an actually balanced game. So they just shit out OP cards for the 'bad' classes and shitty cards for the 'good' classes until the meta is flipped. Then they switch which classes they give broken shit to every 2-3 expansions.

Team 5's method of 'balance' is to make the game completely unbalanced but make sure that the class that's on the top rotates every now and then. It's essentially substituting actual game balance for something that just imitates game balance by forcing the meta to change every now and then.

Do you think Big Game Hunter will see a resurgence? Every class is getting an extremely powerful 5 mana 8-8 (with an effect) as a quest reward, and I can see a lot of these quests being played.

Maybe in tournaments but theres no snowball chance in hell it will get to standard. You must remember that Jade and Pirates will dictate the next meta. Quest dont have the powerlevel to compete with Jade in late gameand theyre too slow against pirates as you lack a one drop(Mixtress)

Fuck off weabo, The Hearthstone devs might be the SLOWEST devs at Blizzard. But this because the team was created from seasoned Blizzard devs who had the seniority to be able to go off and experiment on a new game that became Hearthstone. It was a wild success. Sadly, these types of devs are not very nimble and they take their time with their code, always chasing perfection rather than "good enough". Basically they are too comfortable at Blizzard, so nothing drives them to develop faster. These are the sorts of devs who work M-F 9-5 and whiteboard their code and have meeting after meeting about it, regardless of its simplicity. A dev at another company with actual deadlines and a driving force to get new changes into players hands would run circles around the Hearthstone devs. So sure, quality wise and code cleverness the Hearthstone devs may take top spot, but that's a bad way to code a game like Hearthstone in my opinion.
