"forced 50" is only real if you can not git gud. Every game you play they put you with higher mmrs and if you lose you lose mmr.

then they put you in games with players with lower mmr and you win one or two games

Let's say a concede option is introduced, but it requires all 5 players to vote yes (and it's anonymous), and can't be used before 30 minutes. I'm all in favour of winning from behind, but some games are 100% lost and a surrender option, even if it's fairly restricted, would make me enjoy the game more. Maybe disable it in ranked as well.

Yeah, I can imagine so. I think the biggest problem with them is the fact that most of them are incredibly poorly designed.

I'd like to take a more Neichus inspired approach which is simplistic unique heroes rather than overtly complex simple heroes (like heroes with innate forced combos and builds or percentile based abilities, etc.)

Heroes with spammable slows tend to have shitty turnrates compared to other heroes so they can't endlessly kite melee heroes.

QoP has dagger, jakiro has passive and dual breath, veno has passive and gale, etc. For sure there are inconsistencies but that is the general idea.

Turn rate changes are also the most sleeper powerful changes in the game. Heroes become instantly MUCH stronger with 0.2 less turn rate or shit with 0.2 more.

Same with creepwaves, 2 fire spirits for melees and 1 for ranged and you farm the entire wave and you still have a leftover spirit that you can combine with Dive for an extra neutral camp.
