Whats the recommended way of splitting up your mod into separate files? Like if I was making a mod with multiple dungeons how should I make it so people can select one dungeon and not the others? Should you even separate your mod like this?

Out of my knowledge installing mods the method I prefer the most is when there is multiple esps with different names, eg.

>bandoliersLowWeight.esp
>bandoliersHighWeight.esp
and then the user just selects one.

However when you're developing the mods whats the best method of handling this. Ideally I'd like to develop each dungeon in a separate esp and then pack them together for distribution but it looks like its kind of a pain to merge esp files like this. Maybe I'm misinformed though.

Could someone who knows more about this help me out?

I removed the armor part of this (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40216/?) armor set with nifskope so that I could just have the cool bearskin cape thing as a accessory to be worn as a cape, but I can't get it to actually display in game.

I'm not going to replace these, I'm just planning stronger versions of each sword with upgraded visuals. The basic swords would be craftable while the enhanced ones would be placed somewhere in the map like at the end of particularly hard/long dungeons or in some remote corner of the map where people don't normally go

If I can't do all the magic effects I want without scripts I guess I'll just buff their current stats and see what can be done with existing enchantments

What I do is make a folder for the /tesg/ follower and dumb them all in it.

When I have what I need I turn said folder into a rar and add it to my game.

I install said rar and then I load up http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69905/? and make a merge.

I take the new Merge esp and drop into the folder with all the followers.

I delete all the follower esps and then repeat the previous steps.
