I did it with a cavalry meme team. Fliers don't even seem that great because they put themselves in range of Drag Back and get double or triple teamed.

I used Eldigan, Elise, Gunter and Ursula (all 5* except Gunter who was 4*). Elise had Jagen's cavalry defense buff (+6 Def/Res) and Rehabilitate.

Turn 1 I moved Eldigan as far to the left as I could while still keeping him between Elise and Gunter for the buffs.

Turn 2 I moved Eldigan into range of the lancer and Michalis. Ursula was moved into Eldigan's previous position so that she can get the buffs. The lancer will attack Eldigan, do decent damage but not kill him. Michalis only does like 6 damage (+6 from Fury).

Turn 3 is the tricky part, since boyth the lancer and Michalis are extremely dangerous now that their specials are activated so they need to go this turn. With the buffs, Ursula can take out Michalis (without he survives with 1HP), and you won't be able to take out both the lancer, Michalis and get Eldigan up to HP). Eldigan can take out the lancer, and Elise can heal him with Rehabilitate, bringing him back up close to max.
Due to the stupid trees in the bottom left you'll also need to put Ursula in danger. She can take a hit from the Lancer coming in from the right if she has the buffs (particularly Gunter's - not sure without, but she'll die if she gets doubled).

Then turn 4 you can move Ursula out of range, block the lancer with Gunter (I didn't attack him because I didn't want to risk his special charging) and also kill the other guy coming in from the north with Eldigan.

I think that was about it. You really need a unit with very high Def (like Eldigan, who has I think 37 + 6 from the buffs) to tank some hits.

After a million tries I can't beat the Lunatic version of Michalis.

I managed to beat Michalis on Lunatic with the team pictured here.

It took a few attempts, but I was able to align them all against the right wall to get Michalis and the Red Flyer to split up. Eirika killed Michalis with Olivia making her hit twice to avoid being hit by Blazing Thunder, and Ephraim killed the other units coming from above.

Thanks, just tried something of that sort by switching in tacoman and plowing him up the right side. I hadn't thought of sending someone in rambo mode with dance and was playing real defensively. I had to 2 turn the red cav since he has bowbreaker but after that both Lyn and Tharja could move up and handle the rest.

It doesn't help that I have a -def Hector too, he has real trouble being a blocker on these grand maps.

What's the best special move for Linde? Moonbow?

Does healing with a staff proc fury? And would the fury self damage buff the martyr heals?

But still Rehabilitate is the best heal since it has some scaling that doesnt involve getting beat on. I'm not expert but i think you'd get the most mileage out of him by having him inherit Rehabilitate and Live to Serve. That way you get the best heal for others and can still heal yourself more safely.

I had tried it with an archer early on but focused mostly on the left side so that lovely Iote shield was a huge downer and I switched him out of the lineup. Lesson learned, don't forget to think aggressively and defensively.

Quick Riposte allowed Ephraim, who has a low speed, to attack twice when the first flyer attacked him along the left wall, this insured that the flyer would die and not use Drag Back and pull Ephraim in range of Michalis (Before Michalis went south for Eirika), the other Red killed himself against Ephraim

Raven + TA3 is the best on units you plan to use to bait colourless and possibly tank weak-colour melees, because it shits on their ability to do anything to you, but if you plan to just delete everyone you meet it'd take 60 attack after cav buffs for a Raven + TA3 to match a Blade.

I don't use Blue Tomebreaker yet, lad. Reinhardt Speed is complete dogshit anyway and there is no way in hell a 5* Reinhardt can kill a 5* Cecilia. Ever. Mind you this one was a Training Tower one and had 45 something attack. He did 2x0 damage on Cecilia. That's how incredibly potent Raven + TA is on her.

Imo the only time Tomebreaker MIGHT matter is when you run into buffed Lindes/Ursulas, and that's only if they get the jump on you. I might just keep Escape Route as her B because It's pretty nice on maps like double wall/bridhe.

Ironically I find Michalis's map to be the most difficult map so far because I don't have a flier. Had to go left with Hector getting +4 Def from Sharena (he'd die without it, even as a +HP not -Def variant). Sharena and Hector had to put in a lot of work for this map while Tharja's main job was to kill Michalis. Ursula served as a bait and Draw Back support.

The map ended with Hector at 3 HP, Tharja at 17, Sharena at 11 and Ursula at 8. Couldn't bait the fliers on the mountain and couldn't go right because those Peg sluts had Drag Back. Maybe I should get a flier....
