Honestly think that the backlash on P5 is going to be pretty harsh. P3 and P4 released in a pre-Nier world. Now with P5 releasing hot on the heels of Automata, people will directly compare the two and it's obvious how superior Automata is in story, characters, and music. Really not a good look for us, we're risking looking really dated and out of place like Halo, Gears of War, Mass Effect, etc. are now.

Also is there anything that provides any in depth looks at what is different between P4 and P5? I want to know if safety literally means infinite retries in battle, as I'll probably start off on that for the story.

I saw on a fusion video of P5 that when creating a persona I saw a number pop up and what sounds like the sound effect that plays when you make a purchase. Does this game actually let you skip summoning all the individual personas you have in your compendeium needed for that fusion and just buy them all at once and let you fuse that persona then and there as long as you have one slot free? That would be great if it does/

Still, I'm starting to wonder if all the recent Atlus games with the most questionable localization decisions (as in, conscious ones, not translating some lines) were those that didn't have Nich head them up. Record Breaker was full of them, Apocalypse was better but still iffy in spots, and now we have P5. Say what you will about his beliefs, but I think Atlus' writing took a hit whenever he wasn't involved.

Still, speaking of Muramasa, at least we're not dealing with an Ignition Entertainment-tier translation, which just made stuff up and only vaguely paraphrased the dialogue. That's not saying much, but things could be a lot worse.

We should send Atlus Japan emails about this translation. We cannot let Atlus USA get away with this.

So, it repels all my attacks except for Mega Dolan. I'm assuming spamming it isn't the intended way to do so, though. Rise has mentioned how she reflects everything, and one time she did Draining Fog which led to a message of her body breaking and Rise talking some more.
