Is Overkill Tychus a thing again now that they gutted his minigun talents?

For medivh what is more damage overall, masters touch or the 30% dmg on the next spell? I've been taking masters touch but I dont feel there's too much of an improvement.

Overkill talents have always been situational. Now since they made his range worse, Overkill talents went up in value as more of his total damage will come from Overkill rather than super long Minigun durations.

Depends on your comp. Master's Touch is far superior but is more mana intensive, Arcane explosion is more if the enemy team has a lot of melee, the 30% on next Rift is kind of okay if you always fear you will lose your stacks of Master's Touch before you complete it.

Think of it that Overkill was the "finish them off" spell and Minigun was the "Open up on them" spell. Now that Minigun doesn't make you an unstoppable god, you'll now get more value from talents like The Bigger They Are and Spray and Prey because you're "opener" won't last 10 seconds and shred the entire enemy team.

That's kinda entire D2's problem. All the classes have ridiculous elemental effects. There's nothing visually coherent with an assassin throwing lighting balls or an Amazon exploding with ice.

Amazon, and Druid are the only classes with strange somewhat unfitting elemental shit slapped onto their class.

All of Barbarian is coherent, same with Sorc, Necro, and Paladin is just various forms of holy magic, whether it were used to burn or slow and freeze, or create shockwaves.

Assassin is kind of debatable because the basis of her traps was that they were mechanical in nature, and in a world where magic exists, it's not too hard to imagine, she didn't shoot out lazer beams and big novas and stuff. As for her martial arts, because magic exists in this world, it's not hard to accept that whatever deities the Assassins worshiped and trained in the ways of, imbued these martial artists with some form of magic within their strikes. But that's the same sort of excuse you could make for the Amazon, who seemed to otherwise be a largely physical sort of class. So it's kind of weird, here.

It really bums me out that a hero going on sale doesn't reduce the gold price.

We were getting stomped early game because no heals and no tanks (Chen fed first blood and kept solo feeding for a while), and Xul ult fucked us up the next two teamfights after the first three beacons.

But then we decided to get a boss as a hail mary and won a teamfight because the boss and the two barrels' worth of Chens kept getting in everyone's way and managed to win every teamfight since. Teammates kept worrying that we were going to lose up until the very end. Was crazy.

Sonya represents dual-wielding Barb, with D3 abilities minus Whirlwind. D2 Barb could wield a 2hander, and be a Shout Barb, centering more around being amongst his group and acting as a big bodyguard. Like how Artanis was before they turned him into a better Stitches. Except with Shouts this gives him the ability to play that part even better, as he could bring some utility via buffs.

Paladin could be a Warrior or Support. He has his motherfucking aura game going for him, along with stuff like Sacrifice, Charge, Zeal and definitely Holy Bolt. He's got pretty iconic abilities that Jo doesn't have or represent.

Necromancer is a gigantic fucking laugh. He's just the D3 Necro with one or two D2 abilities slapped onto him. We'll probably never get a Necro true to the D2 playstyle, and that's depressing as shit.

Sorceress is in a rough spot only because between Kael'thas, Jaina AND Li-Ming, her abilities are all covered. HOWEVER, there's still room for her if they play to her side abilities, like her elemental shields, her novas, her ice orb, her hydras, and her fire wall or fire walking. The thing about her is that she could be all four elements of fire, ice, lightning and arcane and not just one type like Jaina/Kt/Li-Ming are.

Druid wasn't as much of a mixmatch as people think. Excluding fire not really belonging on a Druid character, looking at what he did with wind magic through Wind Armor, Cyclone, Tornado, and his summons and shapeshift, I fully believe you could make him a Specialist/Support hybrid. Support would focus on supporting with his wind magic and Oak Sages, and Specialist could focus on his wolves, ravens or bear (Although Misha...), quite possibly this is where his shapeshifting could come in as well.

Unlike Li-ming you put yourself at a lot more risk, but you're nearly guaranteed to deal damage the moment you start hitting buttons.

The trick is to pick someone you know will explode with a simple R+aa+q and maybe an e to finish them off, works especially well with Juggernaut.
You might want to use one w as you jump in then the other w to back off and give your cooldowns a second before you jump back into the fight.
If you have the element of surprise then save both for retreating.
If you're level 20 then just go balls to the walls after you engage because 8 second smash lol.

As with all squishy melee assassin, you need a team that can peel and take hits, does not work well with a Valla and Zul'jin.

The only person talking sense is >>171917297 . Tunneling being baseline is a much-needed change. They could replace the level 20 upgrade with something that allows the monstrosity to get even more stacks, or that provides it with a ranged attack, or that gives it additional bonuses when directly controlled, like extra movespeed or something, I dunno.

The only time I ever take the deep tunnel upgrade at 20 is when I've been building symbiote but my team is painfully bad, so my only choice is to try to beef up a monstrosity and backdoor the enemy's core before we lose. To be honest, I think a symbiote build is more effective at pushing than a locust build. The extra couple of locusts, even with an increased lifespan, don't push as effectively as a series of fully upgraded stabs and spike bursts, and supplemented with an enhanced, networked carapace for the entire creep wave.

Also, the locusts aren't as easy to split push with. A hat build lets you buff and push any lane effectively, without the need for deep tunnel or the locust nest/brood being off CD.

If you remove hero damage from all supports then sure it'd be fine, but that's a nonpoint.

Lucio's auto is actually fucking fantastic considering his ability to chase down heroes attempting to flee, and malf does decent damage himself with moonfire spam and constant poking.

Uther has no poke past wave and his e is basically double melee range.
He has no escape ability besides a single target high cooldown and cost stun, which also combos as his only way to punish attackers.

AND TO TOP THAT OFF His healing capabilities are much lower than the grand majority of supports.
With the worst damage, worst mobility and worst healing you're really asking for a nice spanking if you walk into a QM with Uther.
He's technically fine if you're good with his positioning and your team can dive, but if your divers decide to pull out you're basically left in the dust since you can do jack shit on your own except walking to base and praying they try to pick your dps over you.

His tankiness lets him support dude's who like to go balls deep like Illidan, his lack of everything else leaves you at the mercy of their Dibbles when your Illidan gets cc'd or proves that he doesn't know how to play the game.
