Vania, vampire princess is quickly becoming one of my favorite cards. It's just so positive and generous. Practically costs nothing at all at two mana you drop her on the board and that chill ass motherfucker gives you a bat to use later in the game. And you also get this adorable little 2/2 can ping things but usually is too harmless to be removed.
But more than the Vania is just so positive. It comes on the board like "It's me, Vania!" and I'm like "yeah Vania let's do this shit" and when she attacks she's like "Yummy!" and I'm like "yeah they are SO YUMMY!" She doesn't say some bullshit macho shit like "I will destroy you" she's just like "nah yummy." And it looks so happy. I mean this is an vampire girl literally brought to life by magic. It understands it's life is a temporary magical gift and the dudette is just fucking loving it. I mean look at her face she's just so happy.
I am literally never sad when Vania is on board. IDK if she's gonna make it into the metagame or not but for now she (or he) a pretty chill card

Try playing VG, new cards EVERY SINGLE NEW EXPANSION outclasses the old ones. At least YGO has banlist to kill OP cards, so it's still possible to release weaker cards later.
The same thing happens in FoW, though not as bad. It's more of a Bushiroad thing.

I only recognized at the end that it was unranked when I checked the menu, so on the last turn I played everything in my hand, said impressive, then conceded. Is this your first card game? Match-ups have always exited, and it's fine for some matchups to be nearly unwinnable, have you ever seen a control warrior against a freeze mage in hearthstone? Unless the warrior fucks up badly, there is no way the mage can win.

Let's say that you are playing deck "A", and said deck always loses against deck "B", but always wins against deck "C", while having even/skill based matchups against decks "D", "E" and "F". Isn't that fair?

In MTG sideboard is 15 cards. But decks also have lands, and decks are minimum 60 cards, so decks have about 36 cards on average. So I would say a 10 card sideboard would be fair for SV.

Yu-Gi-Oh decks have at minimum 40 cards, just like SV (though in YGO it can be up to 60, but people don't do that unless they run a specific card), and the sideboard is 15 cards as well.
It will probably be better to keep SV on a lower amount though.

Hearthstone's ladder system absolutely fucking sucks for card games. It makes an already luck-involved game almost depend entirely on luck with very little skill involved. The going first-second discrepancy, the match-up roulette, the fact you only play one game so the impact of draw luck is greatly increased, the fact that it attracts so much aggro players who just want to rank up as fast as possible since the only thing that really matters is how many games you play under a specific timeframe.
Ranked matches being 2/3 with sideboards would fix a lot of the frustrations I ahve with this game. Then again them not powercreeping the shit out of their game and continually buffing one of the most problematic decks in the game while never printing real counters to it would also be great
