I have 50 int sorcer that I keep from leveling from 120, because I want to have a little challenge from the last DLC, he has 11 strenght, enough to two hand the MLGS, it still does a lot of damage and you don't miss out much, you can even use it one handed.
However if you dont have even the requierement to two hand it, you will not be able to use the charged attack, which launch a beam, at point blank it does a fuck load of damage combined with the strike of the blade.
I guess you started as a sorcerer, 11 str is not a huge investment

So im playing ds1 for the first time, after killing the butterfly shit, i went to darkroot basin and didnt expect the black knight standing at the end so i died to him miserably, but when i went down there for the second time, he wasnt there anymore, no matter if i die on purpose, reload the game or anything - he doesnt appear anymore
I tried looking on the internet for someone with similiar problem but i couldnt find anything

So did anyone else experience it ? If its a bug, can i find him again anyway ?

The first phase is your average BB fight (Especially in regards to difficulty) and the second phase is a bit gimmicky but nothing super offensive. The music is fantastic, and like you said, Freide rising and then the father screaming was GOAT.

P2 wasn't bad by any means, the bosses just had a bit of a limited moveset, on the level of DaS bosses instead of the DaS3 ones we've come to love.

P3 was great though

Ancient Wyvern could use a little more presence during the fight. Such as blowing more fire or trying to squeeze his head through sone buildings to get you. Deacons are fine as they are. Switch yhorms and curserotted, curserotted needs to be taken down with stormruler and Yhorm is already a pretty good fight without stormruler. Father Ariandel needs to damage you if you stand in his way during his charge. As of now, only the bowl damages you and his moving legs don't even stagger you.

Anybody know how some phantoms make it so that they appear as a host and not a phantom? Is it an item?

Ancient Wyvern would start out on the ground and destroying portions of the area. Each phase it destroys the portion of the arena you're on and you need to move to the next before it ruins the one you're on. First phase you trip it and go for a critical. Next phase it's a stage hazard while you're inside some ruins and need to deal with the lizard adds. It sticks it's head in to deal with you which gets criticaled, causing it to destroy that area and leading to the next phase. It's severely injured by now, exhausted and can't fly so is perched high up, but still attacking, reach it and critical the leg to cause out to fall to its death.

Deacons would have started the same, but each time you kill the dude that has the soul, 2 others would get a dark aura and become aggressive and the one with the soul would stay dead. Once they all had the Dark aura all would die except for the main dude who would become a main boss and start spamming spells.

Yhorm would be about hitting his ankles until he drops to a knee, giving him another move set, then hitting either of his other joints to cause those to give way with the goal of getting his head to hit the floor for a critical for half his health. He rises embered up and attacks faster. Repeat and he dies.

Father Ariandel I think was fine so I'll leave it be.

Curse-Rotted should stayed on the upper area after the hand came out, then slammed the ground at 25%, causing it to fall and crack open revealing the thing inside, which now has a full bar of HP.

Two-handed machete attacks on the second phase leave flaming scars on the ground that also explode after a few seconds. Also he has special poise on its legs similarly to the Iron Golem.

So I just reinstalled to play the new Painted World DLC and get ready for the other DLC.

What level should I have been to do the painted world DLC? I started at 45 and now am at 56 and am at the last boss. The whole place kicked the ever loving shit out of me but the bosses seem really easy.

Do I just suck, am I under leveled, or is the DLC world kind of bullshit? I mean everything 2 shotted me in small corridors or there were just 30 on me at a time. I even had to break my creed of using undead bone shards which I didn't use in my first play through and everything STILL fucked me.

Last boss took me a bit to figure out but I can now beat form 1 and 2 without taking damage. I haven't got to experiment much of 3rd form though. All I know is she 1 shots me.

That was done with what was previously the highest known AR with tumblebuffing, which provided the most AR bonus compared to all the other known glitches, which in turn were patched anyways. Bloodlust and Miracle buffing were both weaker and got patched out anyways. Dartcasting might still be active but I'm doubtful it has much to change in the way of the current record.

I just got done playing fallout New Vegas, which ran fine, and switched over the DSIII after a while away and now the framerate keeps hiccuping. Like, it'll run fine for a while, but then it'll jarringly slow down for a second before picking back up. what gives, this hasn't happened before?

One of the latest patches apparently fucked up NPC invasions for people playing offline but there seem to be weird loopholes. Apparently if you're playing offline but still connected to whatever service your system uses then invaders will still show up, but if your system is completely disconnected from the internet red phantom NPCs won't invade.

Any tips for Sulyvahn as a UGS character, no parry? His recovery time is unreal.

A weapon that benefits most from it. Longsword is good as it has lots of scaling to 40/40 with a quick moveset. Claymore is also good. Ultra gs also are quite good quality. Halberds too.
