i have been calibrated 1.9k
i got to 2k7 by playing visage sf and shadow shaman
then rised up to 3.5 with axe storm invoker undying and earthrhaker
last month i decided to stop fuckin around and pick meta, basically i had jug slark and naix as my pos1 choices, od ember and invoker for mid, when facing ember myself i went straight into lc mid and always had the upper hand
weaver undying ds and centaur were my off picks
as support i found out to be best with venge rubick ogre and earth spirit
i tend not to jungle unless i see the lanes are strong and defensive, and could group up and fight as they hit the first core item, then my choice would mostly be bloodseeker, gettin a sub 5 min midas into straight pickoff items like silver and bloodthorn and ballin out from there

Yeah that's pretty much spot on. He's one of my highest winrate heroes though and almost always have more net worth and exp than the whiners do without doing anything stupid like pushing the lanes by bombing waves or KSing. I just wish I could play them without people having breakdowns over it.

i tried phase into mask of madness build in couple of games and liked it a lot
fast at farming and great at killing supports with first haunts, the downsides are lack of mana and inability to switch between illusions
rest is usual spectre shit, manta is mandatory (it gives you more damage than rapier if you proc desolate), go diffusal next if you want to kill people even better or skadi/heart if you have trouble surviving or butterfly if you want a bit of both

I think I'm finished playing supports and roamers for good. All my games at mid 4k are decided by who has the greedier lineup. I played earth spirit earlier against a team with 2 fucking junglers. I killed their offlaner several times, killed mid twice (and our mid still died to him solo somehow), and fucked with one of their junglers but didn't manage to kill him.

Then our Jugg, instead of pushing like I pleaded him to, clears our jungle a few times. The offlane weaver (who died solo to slark btw) gets a midas instead of a quick deso to munch towers. This isn't a rare occurence in my games. People don't seem to realise that taking early tier 1 towers lets us get aggressive wards down and limits what areas the enemy can safely farm.

So am I wrong to go jungle troll warlord from now on? It honestly feels like I need to get over this hump in player skill where space that I create is utilised better than "better get my midas vs 4.5 cores".

Can the offlane be fixed once and for all? It's gone through so many changes (camps changed, xp from neutrals killing lane creeps changed, xp range changed, iron talon, new PMS changes, etc, etc, etc) and it's still causing problems balance-wise.

There always seems to be an arms race kind of situation going on.
