This isn't about the quality of the gameplay, AH has no streamboar support, no brand name and its style and its style alienates it further in an already niche sub genre in fighting games. People are gonna pick up the new re release and the numbers are just gonna slowly dwindle down to the hardcore fans of the series, like every small series.

Just face it, if you're not MK, SF or GG your game is going to do this.

The game is trash. Look at how many times pros resort to just doing it, and it is rewarded. There is no deeper decision making anymore. Rinse and repeat the same fucking action and it will work 5 times out of 10. Its why matches in this game just blur together. They turned SF into Marvel 3 but without the fast pace, team synergy and tough execution at the highest level.

I don't give a shit about execution. I care less about damage being bonkers for some characters.
But Christ the neutral in SFV is so fucking garbage. Slow, stubby normals with input delay and everyone having fast dash speeds. Fucking forget trying to play spacing or footsies with a Bison in VTrigger, or watch as Rashid or Mika masturbate on your screen "feeling themselves" with their "reads" as they get in easily because of a free resource.
It still blows my mind that a game made famous for it's neutral game got rid of it to the extent that we have in SFV now. I said this since release and got bashed on by my friends and locals who loved it. It was so obvious to see, and what's weird is that even with all these recognizeable players(EVEN THE EVO CHAMP INFILTRATION SPOKE UP) people still defend this garbage.

I can't stand dial-up-combos either but at least NRS is actually improving and pushing for some new shit. They've started using better netcodes, they aren't afraid to to experiment with extremes and introduce new spins on character designs (see the variants in MKX). They keep introducing more modes, better single player content etcetc.

I don't like the MK universe at all but the first Injustice had some dope mechanics (traits, meter gambling) and from what I've seen and read they are aiming to improve general walking speeds and anti airs as well to stop the neutral game taking place at full screen.

With SFV being such a turd and KOF being dead there isn't much left to play except old games.

Wanted to make Nanase work because she is fucking hot, but her stubby normals make playing in neutral a bitch. I want a character that is more in line with Street Fighter, someone with good normals, not necessarily a shoto; just someone with good ass pokes.

I tried Vatista and she's alright, she takes longer charge time than guile so chucking plasma the entire time doesn't seem to work out, even when rotating fireballs.
