I used to be a huge "HARDKORE GAMER" who only used hardcore peripherals for hardcore gamers such as myself, but after several crap outs, switch outs, trying different stuff, using replacements, moving houses, general 10 years of life stuff I realized the bulk of it is crap.

Keyboard - Logitech K520 (as cheap as they come but I used it as a replacement when my more expensive keyboard broke and it felt so good that I didn't even go back to using my other keyboard, even when a replacement was shipped to me from the manufacturer. I really want to emphasize this, everything (well, nearly everything) about early cata was amazing if you were good at and/or serious about the game. Right off the bat when you walked into BWD you had Omnotron, a fight that revolved entirely around mechanics instead of insane throughput or whatever, and that pattern mostly continued throughout. ToT4W, BWD, and BoT were all fantastic and they all had GREAT final bosses. Cho'gall and Nefarian were stellar.

Heroic dungeons were, for a short time, amazing. Only actual good players could do them without it sucking horribly, but they fell victim to the casualizing of WoW. I don't hold that against Blizzard though because frankly having BC-style heroics in 2010 is not a sustainable model for the general populace.

Also cata pvp was dreck. I played war/sham 2s and maybe it was just because it was early in the expansion, but yes druids were blatantly retarded (remember how many druids they stacked for the first raid kills?) and burst was out of control.

To this day I still fondly remember killing BWD Nef with my friends (and H Halfus before we bailed on Heroic quick af).
