My concerns about Echoes are only rising as we receive no footage. It is no denial that biases aside, Gaiden has the poorest gameplay of all Fire Emblem games. They are doing very little to alleviate or update the legitimate problems of the original. It merely seems like a 3DS era coat of paint was slathered over it, made of reusable assets.

You don't have to agree with me, but as someone who has played Gaiden before, I'm not impressed with what I'm seeing. It only seems like effort is going into the presentation over anything else.

Ok lads I eventually want to make an Tank Meme Team in Heroes. The idea is to be as annoyingly unkillable as possible.

The general composition in my head is Two Armored Units, one Healer, and one ranged unit.
I have two potential members so far, Wendy and Azama. I hope to draw Sheena at some point because of her Svalinn Shield but I don't want to jew out on this game yet.

For Wendy, she has most of what she needs, I'm gonna sacrifice a Draug to give her Ward Armor for a C skill, but Escutcheon combined with a Killer Lance is going to make her more or less perma-30% damage reduced. I could also toss away an Abel to give her Aegis but that's still up in the air. I dont think I can give her Svalinn Shield, but I could give her just a straight +5 in HP or +4 in Res for tank stats.

For Azama I like him because Pain is free chip damage on enemies if they try to attack him, and he's tanky as all hell. I also like Threaten Attack to give enemies that try to engage my frontline even more of a problem to deal with.

I don't know what ranged unit I want to put on the team, the frontrunner is Felicia because daggers shred resistances and she can kill mages as well as provide some more passive healing but that's really it

Any advice bros? I don't care if its a dumbass idea, I just want it to be as optimized as possible while still keeping in mind the spirit behind the idea.

Mathis is fine in FE1+3, he maybe weaker than Cain and Abel but he's still a cavarly and is alright replacement. Gordin is fine 1+3 too, especially FE1. Goddamn was he made unusably shit in FE11 though.

Peri is decent enough due to her atk and res stats, make her a great knight and she'll get nice growths and have high move. Mozu is a training character, but can be raised very easy if you throw paragon on her in conquest.

Tanya has pretty good growths and her support with Orsin is VERY valueble considering how useful the dude is.

Aran and Vika are ok, their really issue is availability.

She has an effective 1+2 range with Thunder Breath, Triangle Adept assures she can kill all sword users, she's fast (especially if +Speed) and can double most Falchion users, and she can tank reds and most non-green mages in general. All Azura has most of the same shit except you have to blow a Hector on her for the extra range.
