What if they made reaper a bit of a berzerker class, where kill sprees are a primary mechanic.

What if he got a short lived speed boost every time he consumed a soul, the only way to keep the boost going was to keep killing. That would make closing gaps much easier for him. he just needs to ambush one victim and then he can go on a spree, or remove himself from a bad situation easily.

She is a bit of a do everything tank.
She actually reminds me a bit of Soldier 76, in that she is a jack of all trades.
She is much less specialized compared to the other tanks, and i think that will make her a net benefit for any team with one, but its not to say the other tanks cant do her jobs better.
Rein is superior as your primary tank, but I wouldnt be too upset with a competent orisa.
Same thing with the second tank role. I think a zarya or roadhog is superior, but i would complain about an Orisa.

I'm still climbing, I guess. One Russian guy on my team who was close to diamond and had fallen down to low plat was so toxic though. I tried to stay positive and would give people props for good picks which did seem to work since we were able to win the next round after losing 2, but it wasn't enough for us to win.

It did feel good winning the other match though, even though someone on the enemy team sperged out in match chat over losing.

How do you counter Orisa+Rein+Bastion on attack? It stomps in record time. Particularly on payload.

On defense you can zarya+hanzo it relatively easily, but on attack anything other than maybe some heavy dive(and even here I have my doubts because Orisa shield means Rein can actually swing at people diving and Ana can't heal them) just gets rolled before they can build ults.

With new Lucio it's going to be even stronger.

Well for one it is QP, there is no way to gauge how effective it actually is yet.

But how do you counter it? Reaper. If Orisa catches on I think Reaper will get picked a lot more. I for the first time ever got gold on damage as Reaper facing off against the exact comp you mentioned. It worked perfectly.

I main Rein and backup with Reaper, clocking in at 3200 SR. I play for fun only, if I really really set aside time to practice a lot I'm sure I could get GM since I'm in diamond while not giving a fuck.

I just don't like people telling me what to play or throwing a hissy fit because they didn't get what they wanted. Whenever I go Reaper, the cries of

Bastion can't move. Rein and Orisa have to stay close. That leaves three people to try and keep you away, two of them likely being supports. It's no problem. Like I said it was in QP so how this will translate to comp is anyone's best guess. It was also in KOTH, in CP or Payload it'll probably be way harder. Especially if the Bastion composition is defending.

My advice is practice Reaper and see how it works. I'm telling you I've gone against that composition a few times now and Reaper hasn't been bad.

making Sombra a good character is the easiest shit in the world. Give her a damage buff against hacked targets and either make emp global or have it disable every ability in the game. It makes literally zero sense that an ultimate that can't kill anyone by itself has the same range as a bunch of guaranteed kill abilities. It should be shattering ice blocks and disabling nano boosts.

On King's Row you move an EMP into an omnic building. Just let it blow spectacularly. On Anubis the attackers free the AI, so reflect that by making that holographic Sphinx power off.

Want more stuff to happen. But overall more and better maps. CSGO is not the best comparison, but their overhauls and redesigns have been good most of the time.

she's fun if one is a tank main.. It's another hybrid tank that is kind of a mix of D.va for pew pew pew and Reinhardt for the shield. I've already blocked 15k+ in a round of QP with her, super charger + nano + tac to wipe out a team. Countered a rein charge so he knocked himself down. Mini grav halt a luico and blast him in the face.

I think the any new hero, that's a tank, is going to be boring for players looking or use to playing core DPS roles. Being tanking is more about positional play and being part or/protecting the team vs aim.

Should be rather interesting next week when we see how she works in comp at a range of ranks.

My mother used to live in South Africa when she was a child (roughly estimated this was around ~1966-1978). Her family had warm baths, gas, telephone, television, radio, etcetera. Then with wars they had to move to another country in west europe and when they arrived they were so fucking shocked at the absolute lack of technology. No gas, no electricity, no warm water, telephones and TVs were an extreme luxury only someone like politicians had, etc.

Africa isn't 100% deserts and tribes. Most developed cities are "normal" looking, some parts of them even downright luxurious looking.

It's fine to be proud of your ancestry and culture and whatnot but this is pretty ridiculous.

Depicting modern Africa as everybody wearing tribal clothes and nigearrings and huts and whatnot is like depicting modern Japan as all temples and everybody sleeps on the floor and everybody wears yukata/kimono and police carry katana instead of guns.

I use ESDF as a home row being it's more optimal than WASD
A is my alt fire.

So it's better/faster for me to have a shift ability on the side of the mouse. Being if I think another Rein is going go for a pin I can have my thumb resting and waiting to counter charge him with out every needing to drop shield and move that finger.

It's the same reason fire strike is mouse wheel down and ult is mouse wheel up, it's just faster in the heat of battle. Most players don't have optimal sort of key set up for speed, it's mostly just -what they get use too- even if in some cases it's a horrible set up.

You can't, because her entire kit is built upon being unfun to play against. Any loss of control over your character in a competitive game is inherently anti-fun. Remember how mad you got when your controller disconnected and you were standing helplessly in the open and got picked off? That's exactly what it's like playing against a Mei, except she can also wall you off or become immortal while healing for 4 seconds.

There's no way to make Mei fun to play against unless she's removed.

And in my experience I've had problems with the "lel bro get highground" approach. Especially when Rein can spin his shield and Sym/Orisa can project once they see you.

I think you guys are on to it. It's absolutely a control issue. Even her ult and her invulne-heal are about denying control. So what could be done? Being able to do chip damage to ice block (or it not healing) seems obvious, but the ult is pretty bad. Maybe make it not a projectile?

if we're going for tank really tank revert her armor nerf or at least do it partially.
if we're going for defensive tank increase the defense matrix regenerate rate or overall pool.
if we're going for more offensive aspect (which I highly doubt because Blizzard is apparently working on Shinji Ikari as an offense hero) either increase her rate of fire even more or increase bullet damage.

she's completely in the trash and going to stay like that. they're going to make a new MEKA offensive hero and with that she's completely buried.
