They're pretty much equal protection wise (both 220mm/230mm LOS hull armor and 200-150mm turret) and mobility wise (T-54 slightly more agile) but the T-54 '47 got better penning top APHE (211mm vs 183mm at 500m) hence the 0.3 higher BR is justified.

What seems to be your problem friend? The HEAT on the M46 is good enough to pen the IS-6 frontally and it can pen the cheeks if you hit them right for a nice ammo rack.

The Ru may be quicker but you've got the advantage of the M82 round and can get to a spot to ambush the oncoming hoard of flanking germans who have no idea how to play a dedicated flanking vehicle.

Yeah, when I first started playing war thunder 4 years ago you didn't have much of a choice, it was either the zeros or the ki-61s, and the late zeros were overtiered so you had to deal with the ki-61 bullshit.

But now you have a lot of options with the A7Ms, J2Ms,and Ki-44s, you can completely skip over the Ki-61s and you won't be missing out on anything really.

Is the P-47 worth using? It seems like it's meant for BnZ but it seems fucking pointless when the average ingrate in his Yak can climb faster than you when you're pulling up after a dive.

Yeah the P-47 is quite good but it stiffens up bad at 800 km/h and above which hurts it, but if you have dedication and make sure there's no one above you at all times it's a great plane. I love outrunning shitters in it and hearing them rage in chat.

I'll give you a quick rundown on 6.7 and 7.0 of the russians.

Now, with russian 6.7 being void of tanks to play, americans, brits and germans alike are forced to get uptiered if they play 6.7 tanks. Since there are little to no 6.7 russian tanks, russians get their 7.0 and 7.3 brackets tiered against 6.7 opponents, causing the distorsion we have now.
This wasn't a problem until recently when russians lost their 6.7 tanks (IS2 44 and ASU-85) and Germans lost their main driving force of the 6.7 (Panther II and Kugel) and one of the reasons why German 6.7 is no longer viable.
