I run War Machine force barrier and melting point on my titan. They're good for getting in extra damage for a little bit.

On Hunter I like throwing knives as a way to deal with little shits, so even if I miss with juggler, I can quickly get it back. Also I like to use it as a way to keep up/proc my Gunslinger's Trance or Chain of Woe.

even a striker in the crucible can make use of it as a single shot from a hand cannon + storm fist can kill, and you might tend to hold onto the super until the right moment rather than just getting a free kill or two as soon as it's charged, so the faster charge from intellect may be less useful

I tend to run max int/dis almost exclusively but I have a str/dis setup for my warlock since I enjoy Tlaloc and sometimes I run a more balanced Striker build across all three stats just to have storm fist charged more often

it would be nice if there was a way to melee without activating your ability, like holding down the melee button to use it and tapping for just a normal melee. So many times I just waste my ability finishing off a low HP target when a normal melee would suffice and then don't have the ability when i really need it, which is the main reason I don't usually prioritize str much.

No. The vault is for saving things you are going to use and things that will not drop again after a certain point in time. That is the design philosophy behind the vault whether you like it or not. You are not supposed to hoard gear in this game. There is nowhere near enough useful pieces of equipment for that to make any sense whatsoever.

You are explaining your own philosophy, vaults are meant to hold anything a Guardian desires.

What they can do to fix vault space issues is make a kiosk or book that tracks unlocked armor and weapons akin to the roi book.
Use the vault for storing your good rolls, and have a system to track what you have gotten but don't want to keep and let you pull a level 3 piece whenever you want.
Not going to happen in d1, but it would be cool to see in d2.

almost complete noob here (played to lvl 28 i think and took a break), can someone tell me how to get back to the game and interacting with others please?im not autistic or something, just wandering about whole game community, i bought Taken King as a bundle , played mostly solo since at that time everyone porbably had like 3+ alts and was bussy with raids , but i did manage to do 2 strikes?i think? with other ppl. So what do i do after reaching max lvl? Dailies? Raids? Strikes? Do i use lfg in this general or the one with psn/xbox one in game hub? Are ppl friendly/helpful/understanding of noobs?How important is a mic? Any advise is appreciated, and can someone tell me how to buy Rise of Iron dlc, because on xbox (digital) they are only bundling it or i am doing something wrong (cant get it as separate dlc), and physical version is fucking expecting me to dish out around 55$ (complete edit.), btw is RoI worth it?

The overall community is a little incompetent, but you can match here or leddit for end game things. Do not use lfg unless you enjoy pain.

Mics are a must for end game coordination, but not as much for nightfalls and strikes. Most here are friendly but tend to spout memes.

The Rise of Iron dlc is worth the extra amount. You need it to do anything end game and most pvp.
