How can I be better? I really like him, and have trouble playing anybody else.

What am I supposed to do when everybody's pushing away from the objective? Do I follow them? A lot of the time they leave the objective empty and I sit there to make sure the payload is still moving; or the point isn't being stolen.

What do I do if we have no tank and I'm the only healer? Do I go tank or healer?

desu if Winston ramped up to 80 or 90 damage from 60 in a linear fashion over 4 seconds or so (like a much worse version of Poo's gun) would be balanced. I get Winston doing huge damage over time would bad but if a single fucking target is getting shot by Winston past four seconds it's entirely because they are stacking heals or have armor that shits on his damage anyway.

After 4 seconds Winston would have dealt 240 damage anyhow.

Winston being unable to ever engage the majority of the roster 1v1 is a huge drawback. He is just restricted enough in his mobility to not being able to fuck off whenever he needs to.

It's entirely possible to be an asset to your team as Hanzo at any level of play.

POSSIBLE. It's just really really fucking hard, cuz Hanzo's arrows are just incredibly difficult to land reliably on people who have...ever played against a worthwhile Hanzo before. Widow is a FAR more consistent sniper, with a FAR more useful ult.

If you insist on playing only Hanzo, my advice would be the same as to anyone else who wants to play one single hero and never switch;
A) Suck it up and play AT LEAST ONE other hero
or
B) Find friends who aren't jaded who can support you

Plat is the broadest bracket in terms of skill range. There is a lot of frustration there because it can be pretty obvious when someone is letting the team down and there's nothing others can do about it.

It also helps that there's a lot of stupid shit like single hero mainers and people who might have the mechanics but tilt and throw or whatever so they keep themselves (and others) down. Lot of potential for anger there basically.
