Why are some heroes allowed so many options?

For example, invoker and ember spirit. Invoker has so many options available to him which makes it feel like if any competent player is playing him, you will get dumpstered. Not because you are worst than him but because he just has more options. More options always ALWAYS will equal better than less options.

Same with ember, being able to move across map, escape so easily just opens up all these opportunities. What do heroes who can't do what these two heroes do instead?

Like it honestly feels like you never even had a chance if a good ember or invoker is in the game. Again, not because they are necessarily better than you but because they have more options. Some heroes are so one dimensional that they are unpickable.

I have metaforged every possible combination of items on this piece of shit as a cabalite but there is literally no salvaging this useless fuck. Your entire power window to end the game is after diffusal but before anyone gets their next items.

They run out of mana, your illusions do no damage especially against even small amounts of armor. They also feed gold and can barely help you farm.

The closest I have gotten is to not level the ult almost at all since those illusions just get in the way and build the hero as if he was a straight up non illusion hero. But then you are literally an agi puck and puck at least gets 420blazeit hold at levl 25.

Maelstrom is the best naked item depending on procs of course, so that might be the new go to actually, although then you really lack in stats, in that case

Diffusal being higher than that, but also a bit more expensive naturally, and only when the target has mana to burn

and HoTD is the weakest damage overall, although a large creep would be stronger, I don't see it making up for the differences, as jugg himself is doing less damage with it

With Soul Ring + Treads + SB with maxed totem he can solo kill almost the entire hero pool without even needing to commit his ult.
