Sharena is a great Blue unit with the other major blue units locked behind luck.

Anna is an Axe with little competition because it's just Hector, Nino, and Julia as viable greens which are uncommon because of the reds; but those all work because Hector is broken and Nino/Julia have their niches while Anna is just an Axe who hits stuff and dies because no Defense.

Healers are pretty bad since they do pretty shit damage and the heals are pretty bad. They'll be useful in the future defense and reinforcement mode though.

Yeah that much I understand, the issue is Sharena 4* cannot kill both Red Cav/Blue Peg since she's left with little hp. She can follow up to kill one of them the next turn but that's it. The dance+Mic Slayer will presumably come from Sophia, who can kill Mic but then be left with Red Peg waiting to dive in right after and kill her.

The one thing I considered is having Corrin 4* do the tanking, which allows me to survive longer but at the expense of doing any meaningful damage to Red Cav/Blue Peg. She would serve a similar purpose as Subaki but ultimately the blue Peg that is in between Mic and Mic Slayer will still be alive.

The only thing skill inheritance brings to the table are just that, skills, and there's nothing that Ninian can get that Azura can't also get, so it basically boils down yet again to what they were compared for before inheritance and that was niche and stats.

I don't think it's really apt to try and draw parallels to games like that since Awakening wanted to reference everything.

Obviously the whole Grima vessel thing is an homage to FE4 but that's it, you can't really say Chrom is Sigurd or Robin is Julius.

There's also the existence of Valm and Walhart that tie in to Gaiden and Chrom being Marths descendant, it's just a free for all game.

They have the same speed-tier, but Azura's gem weapon lets her be put in more dangerous zones with little to no repercussions. Better positioning means that she can dance a unit a way from a threat, and deal with that threat on the enemy phase. Considering almost every team runs at least one red, and the chance of that red being a falchion is extremely high, Azura offers better support for most teams.

Ninian is more niche in terms of usage, especially if you're using her as a dragon buff support.

She can also inherit ranged counter, but you have to give up a 5*Nowi for that, and Nowi is an extremely good unit.

Well either way that leaves the blue peg, so I'm planning on having Subaki set up at the bottom and bait him instead, hoping that 32 def and 31 defense both being choices to the blue peg, he will choose Subaki. It will still take forever for him to kill Subaki and he has much lower defense than res, so Subaki can kill him. The questions now is how to set up Sophia and Olivia because I'm guessing Mic will aim for Subaki as well, and then after that F Corrin and Subaki has to somehow handle the remaining Red Cav / Blue Peg / Blue Lance as they slowly get chipped away by doubles.

What do you think? This is a completely free team, to the point where there's not even a GHB unit, and the only 4* is F Corrin who comes at 4*.

A lot of Awakening's callbacks are to FE4 though. The presence of the holy weapons, Naga blood being important, Grima's MO being a lot like Loptyr's since Loptyr is part of Grima if not the whole driving force of Grima itself and the second gens.

I won't deny it being a free-for-all game with references to every game in the series but a lot has a lot to do with Judgral lore.

It's not really a negative like you're trying to imply considering she doesn't have an A skill and the benefit is extremely good and pretty much nullifies falchions.

Right. Radiant Dawn is at least a little bit flashy and the animations flow a bit better, I actually tend to keep them on. If it's just your first playthrough of PoR or RD, then keep animations on by all means, I personally just wanted to get through Hard quicker than Normal.

Not sure about Dark Breath, sorry, but she does have Seal Res, so it should make killing easier on your turn. Sophia can take advantage of it too to squeeze more damage once Mic is out of the way. Got any Rally Speed/Attack units you can sack onto Tsubaki or Sophia? Maybe Hone Def/Speed too? You can always try to buff FCorrin as much as you can before sending her out. Tsubaki has swap too, so you may be able to play with that in a tight spot if you opt against slapping some sort of Rally on him.

Honestly hard for me to tell, not in a position to try crunching the numbers either, but anything in your situation is worth a shot. Start by leveling them? FCorrin is a solid 4s anyway all around. Can try to play more with skill inherit too (TA FCorrin may be able to fare better against the reds), might as well use everything you've got.

Yes, Ursula is preferred, especially with Darting Blow. She gets insane damage through cavalry buffs and has enough speed that she can double when she gets buffed and gets Darting Blow.
