also that feel when I just did the fucking white flower. Had a bit of trouble with it initially because I tried to use the glowing womb bugs but always ran out of soul, and tried to go through crossroads.
Did it with the grub shooty badge through the pleasure house and fog canyon and was honestly not that bad. Took me about 4 tries once I had my route down.

I think the trick is to be really agressive, but there is no way around reacting really really quickly to his attacks.

If the ghost fucks you up too much you could skip him for now and find a way to (permanently) deal with it and come back much later in the game.

Fuck I dont want this game to end, This is the 1st true metroidvania that I've played and I'm loving it. Not to mention that I am a true sucker for Souls-like enviromental narrative as well as fallen kingoms and melancholy theme.

They are insects, that's their skull. Look at how there are masks on sticks put as a warning close to the mantis village.

There is the horrific possibility that the mask maker is a face maker and repairer.

I'm surprised that, with the amount of care that has clearly been put into this game, it does not save your position when you exist the game outside a bench.

I mean, if you want people to warp to last bench, why not put in a warp charm? And if you don't, why alow easy warping by saving and reloading?

A question to you then. In the lighthouse area, there is the little dock-like thingy that sloped upward above the water. If you swim into it from the right, you can swim under the lighthouse. After a while you get stuck. Press jump and you fall down and die.

Why are the Ancient Basin and Abyss so fucking boring? It's a chore passing through both and the tramways in Ancient Basin lead to the 2 most isolated places in the game.
Also the only enemies there are shades and bugs that crawl on the wall and floor. Neither of which offer anything with an iota of value.

I liked it. It was a bit too sudden since the game never required that sort of skill before, but since I managed to beat the Trial I got gud.

I feel much more flexible and capable of dodging attacks while in the air, it's great. Spike bouncing, too. I think they were afraid of ever making areas that difficult, so they just pushed that shit into the colosseum and the palace. A bit of a shame.

Fog Canyon absolutely fuck all in it, tiny area, filled with only 2 types of enemies, 1 of which is a nigh unavoidable homing bomb, and you can't even explore what little there is for most of the game.
Ancient Basin is pretty shit too, consists of both the weakest and most annoying enemies in the game (Mawleks) and the Abyss is shit by extension.
Also after the Crossroads are infected they become an absolute pain in the ass to traverse as well as depressing.
