That's not how humans work. This is still the aftershocks of ME3 ending even though it's a completely different team that had basically nothing to do with that.

ME1 has shit animations too. Shit textures too, and texture popping. Nobody cared because there was no hype and they didn't talk about the game until they all finished it, there was no positive or negative bandwagon to jump onto.

ME3 wasn't hard to finish. It was just that when you got there there was a big empty void. The finale was supposed to be satisfying, before the director's cut it just created more questions and answered nothing.

DAI will wreck you if you try to be a completionist, but if you just do what you need to do and ignore optional stuff you can finish it fairly quickly. That doesn't excuse andromeda copying the worst aspects of inquisition though.
