Yeah, a lot of the new top laners use this design philosophy where the vast majority of their damage comes from a single source, and the rest of their kit is all about enabling that source and facilitating their damage.

Champ idea. We have Sol who has skills rotating around him, rotating? Who about champion rotating around skill? You activate skill and champions tarts rotating in orbit like Sol fires rotates. When you move champ you move center around which champion rotates. Champions does AOE damage and get extra MS when he activates that skill (W). This is what I'm most worried about the impending Morde rework. They'll have to change his skillset to make him work but all fours of his skills are so iconic to me I can't imagine playing him without any one of them.
His E and W are probably gonna get scraped completely. His Q will get changed into some other basic attack modifier. I assume his passive and ult will stay similar since they're the most iconic parts of his kit and are his whole character but then who knows what they might turn Morde into. I'm really gonna miss the E, it's always been the most important skill to me.

There are extremes to that though, and Mordekaiser is one of those prime examples of it and why he would never see buffs because if he ever became meta he's be the gayest since because his kit is so binary. Either he does enough damage to be disgustingly tanky and get ghosts consistently or she's not and can't even function as a frontliner because he just dies.

I also really don't have an issue with extremely powerful, unique utility like Camille's ult being in the game, we need more of that if anything because that's how you start to curb this issue of people just picking the champ with the best numbers/mobility

Should Mordekaiser be AD when he's reworked?

He's meant to be a Juggernaut and all of them have a similar cleaver into full tank build because they use total AD ratios with huge base damages and easily apply cleaver stacks.

I just feel like the AP bruiser model doesn't really work very well because your autos don't scale and because you still have to build tanky your build is will probably be sorcs/guise/void into semi tank every single game because you need pen and you need multiple slots for tankiness. Rumble is really the only successful AP bruiser in the game and he's played primarily for his ability to shove in waves early game and kinda falls off outside of equalizers late.

I need some advice please. How do stop a tryndamere from splitpushing mid to late game as a mid laner? He obviously beat my top laner during laning phase and is pressuring the lane hard core. He just attacks so fast that it gets to the point where he can 1v2 me and my top, especially with his ult that seems to have a short cd. I don't know what to do against this. Ive tried splitpushing another lane but that was a dumb idea since he can do it at a much faster pace. If I try focusing him then it seems like all objective taking comes to a complete stop since hes very strong and needs multiple people to stop him. I don't even want to talk about the few games where he's gotten rift herald.
All in all though, I feel so helpless when hes on the map. I cant push objectives at all otherwise he'll just be kicking my base's towers and inhibs down.
I don't know how to go about this champion.

That wouldn't be a problem if Morde could reliably attain a high amount of CDR where his Q would be up almost 24/7. Sadly this isn't the case because there isn't a great CDR option for someone who doesn't use mana.

If Morde has 40% CDR but no AS he actually takes longer to get all 3 Qs off using his autos than he does waiting for it's CD to come up naturally.

That said, AD bruisers are always going to be inherently more efficient than AP bruisers because their auto attacks naturally scale and they get AD per level (the majority of their scalings are total AD, bonus AD is primarily for assassins after all).

For fuck's sake Mordekaiser himself has the game's highest base AD but no way to capitalize on it. Triforce synergizes with him poorly since he only gains shield for ability damage, not item damage (the wasted mana is a tiny little fuck you on top) and his AD ratios/sheen damage can't be capitalized on since he does all magic damage, meaning he'd have to build both AD but also magic penetration and he can't even comfortably take sorc shoes because swifties are so important.

I know making him AD is "taking the easy way out" but realistically AP and AD bruisers still have the same playstyle and general design, they just build different items and AD is objectively more efficient currently because of auto attacks and AD per level (and AD items are a million times better.)

I don't even get why Riot made such a busted champion as Camille. . .

Hell, one of the biggest reasons Rumble is meta right now is because it unlocks your teamcomp and it's you the flexibility to go AD Assassins/Jayce in midlane.
