ITA12S has highest damage (66x8) but it has a huge spread and is only used by the GEO
next is the M870 (57x8) used by the GSG9 defenders
if youre close range you dont even have to ADS to down or kill any OPER you encounter
just dont try to engage long range

For pumps, SG-CQB and M870 are good choices.
M590 does good work too, but it needs to be aimed to be more reliable compared to the other two pumps mentioned.
Nova's good for its accuracy, but lower damage means you need to land more pellets on-target to consistently get kills with it, though it has a good kill range compared to some other shotguns once you take that into consideration.

All the semi's are still decent since fire rate makes up for damage, except for the M1014, that shit is garbage since its buff.

laser does increase non ADS, hip firing but it also gives away your position because people can see the laser dot on the wall

They're also both on opposite sides, so their value is hard to compare.
Overall though I'd say Jackal is cheesier when played right, and Mira offers more counter play for the attackers, so Jackal is the "safer" of the two.

Hey /r6g/, tonight I'll be testing one shot kill ranges for shotguns again. The aim of this project is to remove some of the guesswork when using shotguns in this game. Since I can't do this on my own, I'll need your help. Almost the entirety of this data has been collected with the assistance of this general. I'm in need of 3-5 people to test rook armor in particular.

As a test subject, all you have to do is pick a recruit (which one will be specified) stand against the end of a hallway in Coastline and be completely still until you're shot.

It'll be a ton of boring and repetitive testing, but if anyone would like to drop in to help out for any amount of time, join the co-op games room in the teamspeak. You don't have to talk or anything, it'll just be easier to join in.

Why do I constantly get tk'd by tense noobs? I've been killed multiple times now by teammates that just turn around and shoot me or peek me while they can see my player icon but still shoot me.
