It is doubtful that she has an L5 implant, these were made in 2185, the year the Initiative sets off. Most Biotics get their implant when their powers manifest, and changing the implant is very, very risky. If she is in her mid to late 30's she more than likely has an L2 implant. it is possible she could have an L3. The very best she could have is an L4.

The problem with the L2's was that their amplification was horribly spotty, I'm guessing because the L2 was the first implant to attempt any kind of amplification of their abilities, with the L3 being the first stable amplified implant that they have.

Maybe you should try a space magic guy in multiplayer at some point. Probably just cause its low lvl stuff since I only did the bronze level space mages were always doing the most dmg. It might change if at high difficulties more destroyers and the like show up where they are entirely useless.

So they are trying really hard to make him not mordin while still being salarian. So in best case scenario he is mordin + joker. Which would make for a dream character.

Then no, most new abilties were for melee mage. Only new one that isn't is an ability called Lance. It does dmg in a straight shot and it can head shot. It doesn't go around corners and have tracking like other magic, it's just a straight heres a fuck ton of dmg but no cc or anything else move. It does have an upgrade to do more dmg to shields though which is nice.
