I'm enjoying it so far with my janky silver and bronze cards cobbled with the few better things into an abomination. I was reading some of the uncreated cards I could make and they look pretty neat, like manipulating your health to do play stronger dudes or draw cards or destroy stuff. (Yeah, I know this isn't ambush sword as requested, but I couldn't come up with a deck based around Rogue's Creed. So I settled for this.)

Match 1 (Forest goes 1st): Forest wins on turn 8. 3x May and 2x WotF killed all of Sword's stealth followers. Then Fairy (0 cost) + Fairy (0 cost) + Fairy Circle + Fairy + Fairy + Roach + Nature's Guidance + Roach combo wins Forest the game. Some things never change.
Match 2 (Sword goes 1st): Forest wins on turn 10 concede. Sword clears 2x Anomaly with Fangblade and Tsubaki, but Forest plays Bahamut, and the game is over.

Thoughts:
I honestly think Arriet has great potential that needs a refined deck to work. If you thought turn 9 evolved Albert is OP, then imagine evolved Tsubaki + Arriet dealing 12 damage on turn 7. You could also achieve something similar with Vagabond Frog, but having that card survive till turn 7 is a tall order.
Arriet is generally better than Gabriel. A follower deals more damage with Arriet than Gabriel if it has 4 or more attack, which is easy to achieve with evolve. Plus Arriet cares less about Roland/Durandal than Gabriel and has better stats than Gabriel.
As for Deepwood Anomaly, I can't say with this little testing.

Cheap card synergy meaning one-drops ahoy, Princess Vanguard, Palace Fencer, and Pompous Princess.

Centaur Vanguards, Ruthless Assassins, Vagabond Frog, Swift Infiltrators, and even the the trainees. Maid Leaders optional, but usable.

Not sure about Lyrials and Angels.

Most expensive cards would be Demonic Strike, Albert, Dance, and Alwida's.

Spring Cleaning would only ever be played at no cards in hand.

Indeed. The key obstacle is either having a follower survive until turn 7, and Tsubaki is Sword's hardest to kill card. I can see the card maybe working with Storm Haven. Evolved Regal Falcon + Arriet is 10 damage. But Evolved Regal Falcon + Urd deals 8 damage already so I don't know if the 2 extra damage is worth it.

Overall she's just a well-rounded minion in proper vengeance decks regardless of how your opponent deals with her. If the opponent ignores her she helps you get to vengeance while also being well-statted for the first 2 turns she's in play. If the opponent removes her they have to commit a lot of resources because she's big. She's one of the few self-harm cards that don't harm you anymore once you've achieved Vengeance as well.

Playing her with Moon just makes her a vanilla big guy, which isn't much of a benefit at all considering she often is that anyway. Also Dominator's effect is constant, while Blood Moon is temporary. I could see them played together incidentally in the form of Sadistic Nights in a Moon deck, but Beast Dominator herself works best in a deck that capitalizes on her damage.
