t1 cloak allows you to do cloak+mwd trick which is a life saver for an inexperienced explorer in a t1 frig. it also allows for him to spend as much as time as he needs/wants deep in hostile territory. he can use his cloak to wait out for pipes to clear, throw off pursuers.

1.5 mil is not a bad price for a module which is very beneficial for a new player.

Explain the usefulness.
Landing and cloaking will cause the next cuck to probably land right on you, or warp past you and disrupt.
You can't cloak as soon as you land in a gatecamp because you are instalocked as soon as you engage the module.
You can't approached a pinged gate cloaked because you have to land on grid to put your cloak up.
Mwd and cloak trick is negligible benefit on a ship which should already have 3-5 second align time depending on skills, along with the likelyhood of bumps from all above situations.

If /dog/ is unironically advocating that rookies strap over-priced prototype cloaks to their t1 frigs then all is lost.
