How good is the Noctis TMR? How high should it be on my priority list?

It's been pretty hard to decide for me. I think I'll grind it after I'm done with the necessities like BM, DC and Excal for my damage dealers. Then the ring of lucii before ribbons and Soluna Rings for my healer.

It's still 25% chance to dodge at the very least if you equip it on Noctis, added to his base dodge chance. It'll increase his survivability by a lot.
Or you can equip it on your healer but my Tilith will have one Soluna Ring and one Ribbon already.

Pretty much the only other thing I'd be okay with his Noel's BSB, which is why I probably will pass for now. Hope's BSB2 would just be 10 more MAG to me since I already have his OSB and BSB1. I'd pretty much never use Vanille's USB because I have her BSB.

So I started this game during the free 11 pull thing and rerolled for a Noctis, and now with 24$ I've pulled a bunch of this players choice banner. I neglected the game until about 4 days ago. Is this team comp any good? I know The Noctis and lightning are good units obviously, and I keep hearing That Refia is the best healer. Is there a good list of what units to keep anywhere? Mercedes enhancements come after Ramza enhancements.
Minfilia makes ELT ifrit possible even for low level shitters with two edgars.

Even if your two chainers are gilgamesh, boosting olive 100% is more effective than boosting everybody 60%.

Don't do the vortex, it's the least NRG efficient way to level.

Wait until you make it to Maranda Coast, then let a friend carry you through it clearing all the mobs with one noctis solo. Then when you get strong enough to run Timber Tracks, that's slightly more efficient.

Is that Marie and Minfilia do not even share the same role in a party. Minfilia only incidentally has elemental buffs, it's not her main draw.
But Minfilia is THE main unit that makes cheesing possible.
ATK scales exponentially, so 60% is nowhere near as big as 100%.

She is primarily to be used on a 1hko or 2hko blitz team. No other unit can even approach her usefulness there.

A 1100ATK olive friend with the proper setup can 1shot ELT Ifrit. Minfilia is an important part of this setup, but only for her ST boost.
Hell, Minfilia can help most people 1shot Gilgamesh.

How many Minfilias/Thancreds should i keep?

Still fairly new to RK, started early this month, and I'm wondering if my priorities are straight. I've been doing nothing but orbfest since it came out (my stamina bar has just enough to do a full run of ++) with an event or two in the morning with the stamina refill from sleeping, trying to get slowly to Ultimate on each event since that's the farthest I can get before the boss becomes too much to beat. I'm in kind of an awkward part of the realms dungeon progression, where none of the three or so "new" dungeons offer stamina shards, otherwise I'd probably be doing some of them for refills and general progression (I only have one of the record mission dungeons unlocked right now and none of the characters for it). I feel like orbfest should still be my main priority, as one of the things holding me back from getting stronger is lack of good skills/hones (when are we getting those free skill handouts?). But I also want more mythril for the VI banners, it's my favorite FF. Just wondering if it seems I'm doing the right thing by prioritizing orbfest over the half price realms. Oh, how often are orbfests by the way? It says "spring" festival, so is it once per season/three months?

You should use a macro to do it anyway you know, you can spark the chizuru chains so they actually cap olive (and deal more damage in and of themselves.

Little known fact: Sparks stack with elemental chains. A spark elemental hit increases damage by +0.8%, meaning chiz caps it by the fourth hit (with five more max damage ones).

You could just fuse them and then farm with the one remaining.

In the end the difference is just that farming multiple units makes you get one faster, and overall you'll have them all at the same time as if you did 5 at once.
So it's just a gradual increase in power instead of all at once.
