I hear he runs off if five or so turns go back, so you need to ensure you have the damage (go ham on damage, fuck defense), that being said, you can Paralyze and Blind him on anything bellow Elite. I know this is a bad example because it's a rare unit, but a Fire Flask from Noctis will ensure both 100% (that feels like a bug, what the fuck). Perhaps try to being Blade Bash and other simple forms of Paralyze so you can concentrate on trashing him ASAP while he just stands there and take it.

Goes without saying, trying bringing breaks and buffs to help you do that. In case you don't have them due to bad draws, remember 6 Star Rain is your one-man wonder for free support.

Oh, also Beast Killer is your friend. Ifrit 2 stars grants this.

This is what I tried to use, I just feel I need a hundred more hones and just to make due and even one more stage of full break feels grueling. Also I generally use Terra instead of Locke but I really didn't want to fuck with all the element changing one of the bosses do. Might add her back with Ruinga and Alexander/Valefor I think?

Theres a optional boss called the gil turtle in ffv. it is fought in a narrow cave corridor. The thing about this boss is that the corridor you fight him in has gil on the floor, the first step is 1 gil, the second step has 10 gil, the next step has 100 and so on, but you encounter the gil turtle each step. He starts off piss easy but gets harder forms each fight to ridiculous levels. The gil turtle is just another reference in this fanwank series

Don't worry about it. I want a MC3 for my Onion Knight too, but the most I can make it up to on events is Ultimate and then I can't clear that because of the difficulty spike. It's interesting how two units were racing a couple hours ago, but now one is overcome the other fairly handily. Also, TM grinding isn't as bad as people might think. It's about on par with opening orbfest and hitting auto.
And it feels as though it's going quick enough, as yesterday Olive was at 6.3%, Cecil at 9.4%, Zidane at 14.7%, Bartz at 1.3%, and Zidane2 at .2% when I first fired off my macro.
