I installed Gravity Rush ages back and I'm trying to play it for the first time. I get the Gravity Rush title screen. Then it zooms in on an apple and is like nigga tap the apple.
So I tap tap tap and the apple falls.

Then it goes to a black loading screen with a little loading spiral in the bottom right corner.

I was surprised by how much fun I had with this game. Honestly, I should give it another go.

Trying to do the sidequests or taking the game too seriously ruins it, but it's a great game to fuck around in and just have fun. I highly recommend giving it a shot. It can be pretty funny at times, too.

How is Firis? I loved the Arland and Dusk games, but I can't even be bothered to finish Sophie.

I don't know what evade skill is best. Some seem like a hassle to activate while others don't sound that great. I think SPD overall is the best mitama to have in either the evade or attack slot. Being able to dodge cancel out of anything and having a clone of you really sound like the best options.

Firis is the second worst Atelier game on the Vita overall.
Firis is the worst Atelier game in terms of stability, graphics, and difficulty.

That said, I am having fun. It's a really far cry from Arland and Dusk, and even Sophie, but the changes were nice. The first town drops to single digits while everywhere else manages between 15 - 25 fps. I would say look at why you disliked Sophie first and look up videos of Firis to compare. There is a time limit, but it become completely free after you clear the first year. Not to mention you have more than plenty of time to pass it, and significant leftover if you decide to obtain all the reqs.

Overall, I wouldn't be surprised if this is their last Vita atelier due to how terrible the port is.

tl;dr if you are about stability and graphics, you probably won't like it. If you care about mechanics found in Arland / Dusk, you probably won't like it. If you hated Sophie, you probably won't like it. If you hate open world traversing, you probably won't like it. If you dislike PS1 textures, you probably won't like it. If you like exploration and alchemy, you might have fun.

I'm playing Stranger of Sword City Revisited, and I'm at the end of my rope here. When you reach the Old Ghost Town and start picking up the Detox Gum equipment, is there really only 5 pieces of it, end of line?

Not only does it leave the last member vulnerable to the inevitable poison death in the basement or force you to go in missing somebody (MY LEVEL EQUALITY AUTISM), it means you'll face the same problem again when you reach the endgame when poison floors return.

Is there no way to get more Detox Gum? I've tried farming Ambushes all over Ghost Town and even fighting hordes of skellies, but no dice, and Google gives me nothing with plain mention of the items but a single useless thread on NeoGAF where the brainless idiots derail the subject immediately into unrelated navel gazing.

I'd love to get hyped over the new Cyber Sleuth game. But I just can't, because I know Scamco Bandai is going to neuter the Vita release, or just flat out doesn't localize it at all at this point.

The one game that would have benefited for a physical release the most, and they just flat out didn't do it. Asian English version costs half the price of an actual console to play it on. Fuck all that fan feedback and campaigning, you all have PS4, right?
