Haven't played too many story missions, but do we get a lot of choice in how we handle bosses? I remember in the reveal trailer they showed that we could straight up kill white hat, kidnap him or steal his cocaine, putting him on El Sueno's bad side. Anything like that at all?

What do you call a fancy reload, when operators twist the rifle wildly to throw used magazine?
I kinda wish we had this as an option. Like you have a regular reload and then you have this PRO reload (maybe with a skill).
Like how I wish there was a simple suppressor, but when you get Advanced Suppressor Skill, you actually get a fancier version for all suppressors.
Or even an integrated one.

That's...just a normal speed reload. When he's canting the rifle to the left, he's observing the bolt is locked to the rear and that he needs to reload. He doesn't have to cant it back as far as he does to reload, and the mag is going to fall out regardless as soon as you press the magazine release. Generally though, you retain your magazine when reloading, which is probably why you think it's slow. You only let the mag drop when you're in an oh shit situation, like the one you described. It's not like ammo boxes just come with more mags, they're pretty pricey, even cheap aluminum ones for an AR platform are like 10 bucks a pop.

Also, considering you're a spec ops guy who isn't supposed to be there, you generally don't want to leave any sign that you've been there, which includes leaving magazines laying around willy nilly. Even grunts avoid leaving random shit laying around. You don't want to give anything to the enemy.

Have you heard of the PS2 game Extermination? It's the one game I remember gating you by the maximum ammunition you could hold by the number of magazines you held. Devices on the walls would refill your ammo but you have to find magazines in the worldspace.

Btw it could easily be done by tapping reload button once for normal reload saving used magazine and double tapping for speed reload. Double tapping kind of adds to the urgency of situation. And then, after the shootout you'd go looking for your mags (that you tactically painted with appropriate camo) in tall grass.

For you consideration, go with AK12. It can have all the stuff you like, plus it's a pretty good rifle, feels very accurate.
I personally like SR-3M, purely because of aesthetics and it feels like it packs a punch. I have the handguard and buttstock folded on it and the smallest non-intrusive T-1 red dot (though I might get rid of that too). All for aesthetics. It still fucks people up even without all the attachments. I love that.

So about handling, does the faster aim perk work with AR and let's say a simple red dot sight? Or is it truly only for "sniper scopes" whatever that means. I was considering pumping up this skill and getting the medal for it when it means I can get my MK17's handling out of the negative side of the spectrum with it

I tend to just let the ai fire, or fly down to the same level as enemies and brrrt while slowly turning from one side to the other.

How the heck can you tell which Unidad soldier is the pilot when raiding loaded helicopters? Santa Blanca dudes are easy, the pilot has a headset and can be easily spotted but Unidads are all just regular soldiers chilling close to the helo. Which is the one that will hop in?

I remember I had a convoy one time, plenty of prep.time, long straight flat road. So I positioned myself along the road and just laid waste. Hey, did they improve the performance from the open beta? The performance left much to be desired on a GTX1070. Especially since I find 70-80fps to be far more comfy than 60. Even at 60 it had few drops during action which was odd.
