I'm now to the game, started a month ago. Got 's maehwa to 56 but didn't like the lack of a lateral attack, I got a balk to 56 and I really enjoy it, but I'd like to experience more classes before I commit to one. My Valkyrie has 105/125/171, I have a tri green awakening wep, if I were to also get a tri green awaking for my maehwa her stats would be 120/140/150.

Im thinking of trying warrior, witch, or kuno, I looked up a talent calculator and their abilities and cooldown times looked the best, my only gripe is that people say warrior and witch are OP, and I don't like being associated with FOTM rerollers. Any opinions?

Either get over being called a FotM reroller, or roll Kuno. All classes are fine in PvE, and 1v1s. Warriors and Witch just happen to be useful in large scale PvP, which is the only thing similar to "endgame" this game has. Witch/Wizard are also AMAZING for farming world bosses, so even if you don't end up enjoying it, it's still a useful alt to park at bosses.

They do happen, but Wizard/Witch were somewhat recently buffed. They armor and front block on a few of their skills. The reason they're strong for world bossing is because they're ranged and can just outrange all the boss mechanics while dealing damage.

I'm only level 50, but Will of the Wind seems to be my only skill that actually does damage. I have the shotgun thing, and I know how to use it, but I don't like using it because the damage on it isn't as high as it was built up to be and the recoil makes it feel awful.

Pre awaking ranger abilities are pretty shit now they got steadily nerfed since launch because of forum warrior casuals who didnt actually pvp crying OP because they had 100dp and we're suprised when they got 2shot by shotgun

They have been getting small slow quality of life buffs for a bit but you pretty much just have to deal with WotW and shotgun until awakening. Awakening does a lot more damage

Can make you and teammates 20% faster(move/attack/cast) every 50 seconds(skills duration is 30 secs, only 20 secs down time)
Can use mana to absolve some damage
Able to Grab enemies every 10s
Able to block with 2 skills, one moves you forward stunning the opponent
You have pretty much a dedicated spot of parties because of your heals and massive AoE damage
Node wars is just PvE with more intelligent NPCs

Well you sort of sound like myself. When I started I focused on grinding and getting stronger but now my upgrades will cost hundreds of millions each or some crazy rng luck. I suggest maybe look into doing life skills. Like focus on other things than being number 1 especially since your pc cannot take large scale fights. If you're interested in life skills maybe work on hiring some good workers so they can make money for you, you could level processing which makes many items in this game worth while since you can turn that into money as well. Some people really love taming horses perhaps give that a go.

But if life skills are not for you, I would suggest maybe find some comfy spots to grind that aren't a hassle. Instead of maybe going to sausans and dealing with people being aggressive maybe go to cadry if you have the ap for it since people dont seem to go there thaaat often. My point is pretty much dont do the things that cause you to dislike the game and if you pc doesnt run something then dont force it to or else you'll be put in a bad mood.

Sorc is very versatile and I find them amazing. But with dark knight, the issue is they have poor scaling. I have over 200 ap now and over 260 something dp. But I can still get erased since we lack super armor and the like. If you want to remain dark knight you will suffer until awakening.

Ive fought a tamer and their cc will rip you. Witch/wizards are assholes but its possible to beat, fuck zerkers I didnt try that yet. Valks are possible too if you cc them from blocking all the time, I havent really found a warrior yet. But I feel thats how things are now with awakening you will be fine.

as for lower node wars I dont have experience in that sorry. But tl;dr stay dk but prepare to suffer in pvp due to low ap scaling no superarmor

How the fuck can you beat warriors if your class doesn't have grab? It's impossible to land any other cc on them. I'm a 174/184/283 musa and I'm getting destroyed by a 160/162/240 warrior in duels, usually I can do fine against every other class with similar gear.

the problem with that system is the bonuses are always imbalanced as fuck, doesn't matter if one set is fire and another one is water, one of them is always better, and the other is neglected and no one uses it, flexibility is an illusion and everyone just stacks what's op.

With AP DP you can go glass cannon, full defense or hybrid at least, it's not working as itnended but the design is solid and not as vulnerable to fotm changes.
