The funny thing about this card is it MIGHT actually be good in a mid-range/aggro deck that dumps its hand. But it absolutely isn't good in ramp. Spending your mana every turn to bring back this beatstick to die to a carrot is such a bad play in a deck that already sits there with a big hand most of the time. The infinite value it offers is of most value to decks that run out of cards, and take two.

Because the meta is naturally shifting away from hard aggro decks, saharamp can play much more greedy and be much more consistent. Due to the fact that saharamp already does extremely well against control decks, and this new neutral card that does 2 damage to everyone when it attacks should solidify its dominance over midrange decks. Saharamp is now a solid Tier 1 that will only consistently lose against neph, which will drop down in popularity due to midrange shadow. Something saharamp should have no problem against.

But here we have Storm ramp. A deck which had a really hard time surviving early game and clearing tanky boards of midrange decks. With the new dragon legendary, not only does this completely fuck over midrange, it forces control to use their hard removal on it instead of using their hard removal on forte, genesis, bahamut, etc. Unless they can banish it, from turn 5-6 and on if you have decent ramp, you will just keep healing and they will not have a board at all.

I expect storm dragon to dominate the meta since it already does extremely well against d shift, seprah, and control decks. With the apparent death of aggro and the new dragon legendary to heavily counter midrange, i except storm ramp to be an extremely dangerous deck. Possibly even the cancer of this expansion.

That's kind of my point. Most decks that play the control game will just play around it. Either they'll burst you down from the tempo loss, or find some other way to cockblock it. Essentially, they are incentivized to ignore it and take advantage of the fact you just spent 8 mana to Inferno Dragon.
If ramp dragon typically had the aggressive tempo and was the one dictating the pace of the game I'd agree it is good, but ramp dragon DOESN'T play that way, you're always coming back from behind, so this thing just intensifies that problem.

Think of it like this. He is a resource that is constantly being refreshed. Every turn you use 8 pp to get 3 damage on whatever you want and put down an extremely high attack follower. Your opponent WILL remove it or risk 8 damage face or you Urding it or something. Them REMOVING it outside of banish/transform will heal you for 3 and put it back into your hand. Next turn you can do it AGAIN, unendingly, throwing dstrike out and regaining HP as you opponent has to remove the threat again. Ouroboros will exhaust your opponent's board and removals while costing you no cards at all. It's neat as fuck.

You always have a thick to play, on curve it can zap 1 thing with its evvect and survive evo attacking some things and at any time after you can kill something that only had 3 def after a trade then drop a shapeshifting dragon/dragon rider or zap whatever you zapped with wild hunt. If you play wyrm spire, dragon tamer 2 letting you really go nutballs. Also at any time you can cavalier ouroboros and next turn fling out a leviathan or other useful shit with it.

Well, aggro probably already has you in serious trouble by the time you play Ouro. Hopefully they can kill you the turn you play Ouro (or you simply don't play it because you need to spend your mana on actually contesting the board). I think Ouro's maximum value would be in a deck that doesn't have a full hand as much as ramp does, and of course it will be the new target for bitching in take two where it will be 100% absurd.

Ouroboros will be incredible in Flute decks, make my fucking words. Even if that card is shit for winning, it's one of the best board clearer in the game. Clear board, drop Ouroboros, and even if they kill it then every turn you can play it, do 3 damage to a follower, then play a 4/3 with rush.

Why would you use Urd on Ouroboros? All it does is heal you for 3 Defense. It's likely your Ourobos will then die on the opponent's turn, sending an Ouroboros to your hand, and now you have two in your hands but you can still only play one per turn. What's the point?

Yeah that's what I mean, maybe I'm being too optimistic but I think the reduced mana cost/vengeance activated turn 6 maelstrom won't be that uncommon. Vania, vampire princess is quickly becoming one of my favorite cards. It's just so positive and generous. Practically costs nothing at all at two mana you drop her on the board and that chill ass motherfucker gives you a bat to use later in the game. And you also get this adorable little 2/2 can ping things but usually is too harmless to be removed.
But more than the Vania is just so positive. It comes on the board like "It's me, Vania!" and I'm like "yeah Vania let's do this shit" and when she attacks she's like "Yummy!" and I'm like "yeah they are SO YUMMY!" She doesn't say some bullshit macho shit like "I will destroy you" she's just like "nah yummy." And it looks so happy. I mean this is an vampire girl literally brought to life by magic. It understands it's life is a temporary magical gift and the dudette is just fucking loving it. I mean look at her face she's just so happy.

You retards realize that Dragon just got Rahab and Priestess, on top of all the older shit they had (Unica, Fervor, Goblinmount, Imprisoned, Breath of the Salamander, Dragon Warrior, Owl) to deal with early game aggression, right? Also, by the time Ouroboros drops, Dragon will still have evolves available, since they can Ramp, so Ouroboros will basicaly be a 4 health (6 evolved) Levi with "Bane" (he has so much attack that he will be killing anything at that point for sure). Even if Dragon is behind in tempo, they can easily regain it with Ouroboros. If they spend their time killing him (which they are forced to, since it's a 8-10 attack follower), you'll be healed as well, what also makes up for the damage you took earlier in the game if you didn't draw into enough anti-aggro tools.
