Pretty well for me, I am using a mix of high and ultra. Set the vsync from the nvidia control panel instead of the game client. Getting 50ish on average at 1080 with an i7 4790k + 970.

Because I incorrectly assumed that even if the game wouldn't be anywhere near the quality of things like W3 it would still sate the space exploration urge.

However they've cut so many corners everywhere in terms of design, animation, characters and dialogue etc. I'm usually pretty forgiving to games, more so than I should be, this time however it was too much. Spent about 8 hours in the MP and it's incredibly boring and not really an improvement over the ME3 one at all.

there are achievements for the salarian and asari arks. It says rescue the asari ark and liberate the salarian ark. I know they mentioned in the game informer reveal that you had a long quest chain involving escape pods from the asari ark, didn't see any of those in the preview area though. Turian ark is either tied to some bigger story event or just completely blown apart.

It's weird that this game was pushed so hard on EXPLORATION, but you essentially get punished for exploring. In Eos, I've spent a while poking around, climbing odd rock formations, getting into all the nooks and crannies that I can, exploring all the buildings and structures. I climbed to the top of that giant rock arch beside the first camp, and you know what I found up there? Cancer from a radiation blast. There's next to no loot, there's nothing of interest, there's no easter eggs or flavour. Inquisition, for example, pushed big areas but rewarded your curiosity if you decided to explore them. It's disappointing. There's literally no reason to go off the beaten track.

The Danish ark is super modular and can build smaller arks like the christiania cruising behind at the speed of blaze it, the Swedish ark is attached to the danish one with a thin bridge and it's full of people. Unfortunately a lot of oil leaked from the conjoined norweigan ark and drowned all the hipster colonists in their woven hemp cryobays filled with green tea ice cubes (Learning to swim means you're supporting the patriarchy.) The non hipster survivors are still in cryo and sleep in ice that tastes like piggelin, delicious. It's also built by SAAB and has two canards which everyone agree look totally futuristic and cool.
The norweigan ark is a big oil refinery attached to the swedish one with that guy who wrote 'what does the fox say' in a lone cryobay. He's the only one there. But there might be others deep under the oil, maybe, strange people distorted by the horrors of smalahove and fårikål who speak in a strange accent and lure innocent swedes to their realm. At least they're not danes.

I've been having a read through the codex and it seems the Arks are colour coded:

Human - Hyperion - Blue
Turian - Natanis - Green
Salarian - Parcero - Orange
Asari - Leusinia - Pink

Now if we cross reference this with the launch trailer, the Ark that has missiles heading towards it in space is covered in pink lights. This suggests it's the Leusinia and lends credence to the theory that the Asari get fucked doublehard.

Interestingly, the Ark breaking up on reentry has blue lights, so the Hyperion might have some rough times ahead.
