I've got an idea. What if we actually made use of the evidence tab?

Now I know that loading specific evidence is basically a lost cause, but what if we just included a bunch of generic placeholder evidence with common icons used in cases, so that people could substitute it with whatever it referred to in that case? As far as I understand it, presenting the evidence just shows the picture on the screen, so you don't really need to worry about names and descriptions

Pirate the trilogy on 3DS. Then when you're finished, play AAI and AAI2. You'll need to play AAI2 on emulator or flashcart since it's fan translation only, so might as well pirate both of them. The series gets worse from there, play or skip AJ and DD. They aren't important enough to go out of your way for but if you want the full experience you'll need to play them. Then play SOJ, it was a massive improvement over DD. when the DGS fanslation comes out, play that as well. If you can stomach the layton portions, PWvsPL is decent but if you can't feel free to skip it, it's not canon.

Phoenix Wright and Justice For All have terrible sprites. Trials & Tribulations steps it up a bit, but only to the point of them being acceptable, with the exception of carry over characters from previous games like Maya and Judge, which remain terrible.

AJ has the best opening case of the series, and the second and last cases are decent to good.

Layton portions not only make it blatantly obvious where you have to go (by pointing it out on the map) and what you have to do, but also make many puzzles and interactions completely optional, in case you aren't playing it for Layton.
Meanwhile mainline Ace Attorney's investigations are incredibly tedious, and many times repetitive and hard to navigate.
The only advantage Ace Attorney investigations have over Layton portions is that you actually collect more than one piece of evidence in them.

This Friday(31/03) at about 6pm EST the mod exam will take place.

A server will be put up and we encourage people to get together and prepare a case for what will be torture for the steno.

There will be two phases to test the mod applicants. A "nature" phase where a few specific players participating in the trial will begin causing trouble and ruckus from inside, to the point when moderator action will be required.
In the "apocalypse" phase, anyone in the server will be allowed to storm in the case and break any rules they want to disrupt it. During this, the applicant will be judged on how they are able to control worst case scenarios.
