But it's still nothing compared to Hone/Goad Cavalry paired with -blade tomes, or even Hone/Goad armor. The fact that cavalry has multiple tome users available to them while fliers are stuck entirely with physical weapons, that weapons that benefit from boosts don't exist for fliers, and that they're all innately weak to an entire weapon type makes a flying themed team so worthless to me, IMO.

Like I said, you can improve them, but it still seems like they best they can do is mediocre.

When rule 63 Minerva comes out at least you'll be able to shore up the bow weakness problem. Eirika is pretty fine as she is. She needs a special skill; she works with any just fine, though I'd recommend giving her.

Nowi is also good as she is but needs a special. If you have a spare Glacies lying around, I'd go for that.

Selena has Threaten Speed 3, which she unlocks at 4*. I'd highly recommend giving that to someone on the team, perferrably not Eirika and someone who sits in the front lines.

They let units who will never be able to double anything double things. Most units that can't double are balanced in a way that for all the speed theyre lacking they get in other stats, like attack.

Ok guys, I'm going to start inheriting skills etc since I am at full rax right now. Here's my IVs for my 5 stars:

takumi = -res/+hp
roy = -atk/+res
lucina = -def/+res
minerva = -res/+hp
lyn = -res/+spd
raven = -atk/+res
chrom = -def/+res
peri = -def/+res

Raven is automatically trash and I have 2 minervas so I can make use of her life and death. My boy roy is -atk too and I am upset since he was the character i re-rolled for but I can maybe scrap him too if he has any useful skills to use.

I was thinking

lyn: brash assault seems to be the general consensus here.
minerva: seal atk or maybe brash assault because my minerva tanks quite well. She lives with 1 hp from a neutral atk takumi and with brash i think she'll be able to finish him off generally.
lucina: desperation I'm guessing? Seems to be the only one that can fit it. I actually don't know if it's worth spending it since the iv's for her aren't that great.
catria: I think her skill set is pretty solid, probably put in goad fliers if i pair her up with my minerva. I'm not sure if fury is any good since she's +spd and i think she maybe can double people.

Does anybody else like how Brave weapons are balanced in Heroes? I feel like that would've been preferable to the nonsense they put on us in Fates.

How did Hector win the duel against Lyn? He's a slow armor guy, and she's a speedy sword lady, he'd slighted her honor, and she was the first lord you play with. In a game where swords > axes. He even knocks her up afterward.
