I know it's necessary for fighting giant monsters and stuff, but I wish there wasn't any rolling or dashing in these games. The only one where it seems kind of appropriate is Bloodborne because you're playing a superhuman vampire anyway. I personally like to watch HEMA, and there's no rolling in that. If you're having trouble, try equipping a Lothric Knight Shield. It does a really good job of negating the chip damage from his attacks, so if you can't dodge some of his attacks, you may as well try to block them instead.

Not really, there's absolutely no reason to bump up Int and Fai unless you're actually going to be specializing in one or the other. That's two more points that can go into Vig to make you less squishy.

Armor is worthless, and so is investing in Vit. You're taking barely less damage than if you were still wearing your K***ht Set, at the cost of fat-rolling in the game that has the most broken rolls in the franchise. Strip everything down until you're under 70%.

Welcome to the grind. Unless you have 300-400 item discovery, don't bother. Even then, you're going to take at least a day or two to get those Concords. It's still far easier than farming Dragon Scales at Dragon Shrine with CoC on.

You really should have done Blue Sentinels at low levels though, since people will actually use WoB at those lower levels. Each Concord you get before emerging from Carthus is one less Concord you have to farm off of Silver K***hts.

I'm still only halfway through and still trying to wrap my head around part 1 but tl;dr I think you can view the story as a descent into your own psyche/dreamscape where all the various kingdoms and characters are reflections of your self. Unless you have a 100% physical shield, it won't help much. Also, his katana has a weapon art that lets him either parry or do a power attack, if you see him sheathe it, don't try attacking unless you're two-handing a fuckhuge weapon.

Keep in mind that poise does not exist in its traditional form, if you can get a hit on him then you can stagger him for another hit, and vice versa. Learn to watch for two-hit combos, and don't attack more than twice if you can since that otherwise just wastes stamina.

Is it me or is the claymore the best it's been? For PvE at least. The wa is amazing and the charged thrusts are very useful. Alright I'll give some pointers but these are for females but should apply to males as well? I spent too many hours on games waifu fagging so might as well help someone else I guess.

The most important part of the face is actually the nose. If the nose is fucked up the whole character will look off, so what I usually do is get a general frame going, ie) eyebrows/hair/general mouth expression in mind, and then work on the nose.

After that I usually work on eyebrows, for DaS3 they have the inner/outer brows, for guts I guess the inner brow should be going downwards and the outer upwards, don't fuck with this too much or else you'll look like you have downs.

The eyes don't actually matter all too much, don't make them too big and depending on the angle you may need to space them out or make them narrower, generally if you angle your eyes downwards(which is pretty much the only option) you want to make them a bit more narrow but again use this in moderation.

The brow ridge on the default should be fine but may need some touch ups for the most part. The thing to keep in mind here is that this part should be used last along with things like facial balance and wideness since these don't change your face all too much except proportions and spacing. You won't know what you're doing until you finished with the other detailed parts such as the mouth/nose/eyes

As for the jaw and form emphasis, I have no real idea what form emphasis does(all I know is that it makes you look like an ayy) so I don't really touch it. As for the jaw the settings should be fairly self explanatory. Keep in mind that the mouth sliders will actually affect the jaw/chin so keep that in mind.

Parrying has been a terrible idea since its inception. It's a one-sided action that, once its used, has no reaction or counter play to it. If used successfully, it will simultaneously negate attacks and deal massive damage to both players and enemies, usually one shotting them. The only risk of using it is being unsuccessful, and thus the only real counter to someone good at it is to try and fake them out so that they use it incorrectly.

It's especially absurd in PvP because PvP is built on the idea that people have estus flasks to heal off damage, and a layer of the game is trying to find openings to heal, and punishing people healing, so that you whittle down their total effective health by doing so, or effectively terminate it before they can make use of it all. Parrying can pretty much completely sidestep this entire layer of the game because once you get one successful parry, their estus/miracles/regeneration don't matter at all. YOU can chug with impunity, because all you have to do is land one successful L2 and you win.

DS3 heavily encourages you to do it pretty much exactly because estus is so ridiculously fast and hard to punish. If you don't parry someone, they're just going to keep healing into infinity, unless you're a big fan of the washing pole. It's also by far an invader's best shot at downing a gank squad, to the point that invaders who can't parry are rarely successful in fighting multiple opponents.

They are both good but I think the Moonlight greatsword is better for it's low stat requierment (I don't even have the stats to one hand it but still sometimes use it on one hand anyway because the magic AR compensate this)
Also the strong attack launch high AR projectiles and it doesnt cost anything (exept durability but it's a non issue)

I've got a pure sorcerer at 20 dex with sages ring and 60 int. Is it worth going 30/50 instead for a dex int hybrid?

Yes please. Should even be comparable to actual damage, maybe slightly higher - enemy should have high magic def the way the builds were set up. Probably offsets the physical scaling that the attacker has (build was 45/25 in str/dex, right?)
Biggest drawback is of course the apparently reduced walkspeed in stance. Oh well.
