Anyone else run into any hackers on this game?

I ran into one a few days ago playing as nurse the dude is lagging like shit when I see him first but it later translates to me not being able to hit him and when I finally do land a hit he literally vanishes every time I spot him with no trail or anything. It was pretty obvious speed hacking, not to mention he somehow opened the hatch despite definitely not having a skele key. His name was "Loading..." If anyone is interested

I'm aware of the perks, etc. so I made sure to check in the post game lobby to make sure I wasn't being an idiot. He wasn't running anything that would allow him to do that besides deer hunter, but none of us were in a dying state when he started b-lining. 3-4 of the grabs no one was sprinting, etc. either.

So unless he has super sensitive fucking hearing and the vision of a hawk he was just cheating. He literally walked in straight lines to the next closest survivor 5 times until we were all dead. I was the last alive and was downed, but I was down on the other side of the map and crawled into a corner since he slug'd me. Still walked right the fuck over from mars and picked me up. Deer hunter could have proc'd, but still he didn't even walk in a circle or anything, he just walked straight up to me.

The way it is now it's bad. It's bad because it only takes away the killers little visual notification they get when someone fast vaults something. They'll still HEAR where it came from.

Some may say "but then you can fast vault whenever you want." But if the killer isn't close enough to HEAR the action, then you could fast vault with or without the perk with the same amount of risk, that risk being just that you would leave tracks he could see from a good distance away. Take this into account while realizing that the only time reducing this visual cue range is when the killer is chasing you, but since he can still hear the direction you're vaulting it's relatively useless.

The perk makes you neither quicker nor quieter. if it did either of those it would be at least better. But as it is now, it's almost Deja Vu level bad.

Pyramid Head is slow as fuck and was only really dangerous to James because he was implacable, invulnerable, and kept managing to catch him in close quarters. None of that really amounts to anything in Dead by Daylight, since the survivors can't damage the killers anyway and the killers' greatest advantage is their superior speed.

I dont find killer fun at all, so i decided to read a bunch of killer guides online, just to learn how killers work so i could git gud as survivor.

Opinions on the "Weakend state" mechanic they plan on adding?

I dont like it, it seems like a "Lets add X to fix Y and hope it works out" thing thats just gonna be hated by everyone.
I play stealthy anyways, but i feel like everyone would play super stealthy if this was added, making more killers quit or start crying about "I cant find any survivors"

If it's a clown then shouldn't heartbeat be replaced with squeaks? Or remove squeaky noises all together? I was going to suggest that the squeaking noise only happens when the clown gets hit with a pallet.

Before I was going to suggest give him a mallet (a weapon like the strongman carnival game) that emits a squeak when it strikes a survivor or wall, but that didn't make much sense.
Other weapon idea I thought of is to give him a rusty circular saw attached to a pipe, decorated with a few colors so it looks like a lollipop. Something generic since it's a clown.

I love the idea of throwing knives, but with keeping in the 'Circus Freak' theme then maybe replacing the knives with throwing rings would also fit.

These are just a few thoughts I had on it. May never happen but I do love the idea of a clown being a killer. To fit the games dark themes I looked at horror clowns from Haunts and regular circus freaks for inspiration.

In recent games, if I get camped I just kill myself and play another game, is not a big deal.
What I find really fun is when the killers camps and manages to kill 2 or 3 teammates, and say "nice camp gg" they get triggered as fuck. I can't understand killers, if they camp a get more kills and points why the salt?

Survivors "win" when they escape, and if you play the game seriously you will only want to win (demostrate how big is you penis). Months ago, when realize about the toxicity of survivors I started to play for fun, If I get killed (camped or not), just move one find another match and play as I want (not trolling).

I think the game would be a lot better if there was some kind of not-ranked matchmaking just for fun, training or whatever. The rank forces some people to tryhard and rage when lose, especially survivors, and killers to camp.

Funny, I had a similar match yesterday where I literally ranged out 2 people from a hook only slightly proximal to it and fully expected them to yell camper post-game. Same game, I also hooked someone in basement and it was physically impossible for me to patrol without being near it cause it was dead center of map.
Everyone said GG and was pretty happy tho.

Some people understand that camping is a legit strat. While its ok to get annoyed when it happens, its part of the game and its something you have to get use to if you're going to continue playing this game. If you don't, you'll end up like one of those salty pickles over on the Steam boards.

They should of considered added a new injured state to the game instead. One where after you heal up once...and then again you enter a "Bandaged State" (with visible bandages and minor pain animations) where you don't bleed as much (-75%), make less pain noises(-75%), but go down in 1 hit.

Its a shame that the devs' way of thinking is so linear, this game had a lot of potential.

If I survive, I always pip, but usually from survival and objective points. I tend to get few empathy or boldness points because I prefer stealth, and while I'm happy to heal survivors I'm too cautious to get many unhooks and of course I can't heal anyone who's being chased.

You loop the pallet enough to know where to run after you drop it, use the infinite only to make more distance between you and the killer or hiding at any spot using your own scratch marks to confuse the killer. Truthfully I'm getting more and more jaded with these games. I used to let a lot of survivors farm points whilst still playing the role of the big bad scary killer.
