Does anyone know exactly how Penetration and Resistance reductions work together? I know pen works off max (like the -max mod) and reduced off uncapped but how do they interact together..

Lets say I have 20 pen and 40 reduced resist. If a mob has 75 resist, does the pen lower the cap (they are now 55 with 75 total) then the reduction takes from the total (75 down to 35). This is how -max and reduced works together on players.

Resist reductions acts on the cap. So let's say the monster has 100% fire resistance. The cap is of course 75%.

If you apply 30% reduction and 20% fire pen, monster fire res will be reduced to 70% (100-30), and then your 20% fire pen will damage the monster as it had 50% (70-20) fire resistance.

Chaos Orbs. Where do you think they'll be in 2 weeks' time? I think it's obvious the supply of them is going to outpace the demand, even when Zana was available as a Chaos sink (and lots of people did indeed use it), they peaked at about where they are now at 72:1, but now that sink is gone, made obsolete by leaguestones in the same way master crafting hurt chaos crafting. That means that aside from slamming them on crap items with good bases, they have zero use whatsoever. So what will GGG do next to make sure Chaos Orbs end up just like Gold in Diablo 3, where it ends up useless but everyone just accepts it has value because it's what everyone's been using since the dawn of time?

Well yeah, the supply of Chaos is increasing at an accelerated rate compared to Ex. Of course the rate will keep inflating until the turning point when the League is actually considered "dead" and it stabilizes due to nobody giving a shit anymore.

Phys already has a Penetration equivalent. If your damage is past a certain threshold relative to their armor, it's the same as the enemy having less or even no armor. That's why even with 200K armor, builds can still get 1-2 shot by huge Phys hits. Cause Armor doesn't do shit against big hits.

To get the Bonus, you gotta kill the Boss in a Map which is Magic/Rare/Rare Corrupted depending on Map Tier, up to 5/10/16 respectively.

You average between 10 and 12 Packs per Floor plus like 6 Rares.
So let's say 11 Packs per Floor times 3 Floors.
That's 33 Packs times 2 Currency each is 66 Currency Drops in addition to the other loot.
You'll mostly see whetstones, armor scraps, and Trasmutties, but you definitely see at least two or three Chaos most runs.

How to make money PRO tips by someone currently owning 70ex of gear on 2 chars (PRO GAMER!!!)

1) buy every item you own with tier 1 life/es rolls and search for rolls to buy cheap mispriced items by looking for ones like a 107 es regalia but then just divine it up to 135 and price it for twice as much, ez money right there, especially if you just buy it for cheap and then use it.

2) make every item you own up for sale BUT for more than everyone else, your stash tabs should be organized and have prices on them all example your shaped strand map is called price - 5c

3) shape your atlas properly it's way too important, backtracking maps are just fucking trash and if you can sell a lot of maps, right now I have 2 whole tabs of maps I could sell for 2c each and I sold like 100+ maps for 2c each too Nobody buys trash maps, every drop you get that isn't good is lost money, you can just buy maps you want after getting rich


4) spend all your fusings trying to 6 link in small amounts, like 20 at a time on an 84 regalia or very popular item. You'll more than likely make more money than if you just sold the fusings. Ever seen those 6 link videos on youtube and it's magically on the last fusing out of 50 fusings?


5) don't use red sextants and chisels, don't roll chaos on maps UNLESS you have some good reason to like you have a triple sextant on a map and it has something about rogue exiles or beyond on a leaguestone

6) don't fall for the packsize meme, just alch maps and reroll over maps you can't do, it costs way too fucking much and it's a total scam. I have rerolled like 5-10 maps and I am drowning in good maps I want to run.

7) make sure you're always leveling gems, at start of league level discipline or grace, don't quality them and just try vaal for 21, easy early currency. Then go to added chaos or popular spells that can't be made into a vaal spell (example: 21 vaal flameblast = BAD)
