That said, with how quickly games end the winner is usually just the person who has more health when that first 3/5 shows up.

If this game actually followed the card game deck archetypes control would actually be able to stun opponents.Team5 always blames this huge hole in design with "being too confusing' but they shot themselves in the foot by making a card game with no turn phases/steps.

The only solution to this would be prompts that only last a few seconds, and assume that you are actually paying attention while you play and not jerking off/at work, that, and that the client is not a buggy optimized mess that makes 50% of the playerbase lag out on each turn from a simple animation.

But all of this requires effort, so it's not happening.

Dragon Priest is very easy to pilot unless you go into lategame Jade. Pretty much any other scenario means that either you steamrolled them with pure stats or you didn't draw talonpriest/guardian and are already dying.

Statistically, you will lose 53%~ of games against pirates, but since this is mostly below rank 5 (the place where people just want to get to legend as fast as possible) this is where I would suggest you change to something different.

Play a good deck and stick to it. Practice helps a lot, even in hearthstone. If you are really struggling to improve, watch a constructed pro on twitch or youtube. Firebat, trump and thijs are good for meta decks. They explain often why they do certain things.

That's the real fucking challenge faggot. Using strategy and careful health management to win regardless of whether you're going first or second. I win like 80 percent of the time going first and 100 percent of the time going second because no one else is actually thinking about how to manage their life and when to kill a taunt guy and when to hold off and such.

On numerous occasions I have won with 1 or 2 health left when going first specifically because I was carefully managing my health the entire game specifically so that my opponent would die 1 turn before he could kill me.

TLDR: use some fucking strategy and you can win when going first in this brawl
