I'm not a newbie but last weekend I felt like starting something for newfriends, so I advertised on the thread about getting together for t-hunt and some chill casual with low level people on the TS. It was successful and pretty fun.

If other people that already have some more played time under their belt like me want to start advertising one of those, or newbies want to form up squads on their own whenever, that'd be really cool.

Just get on the TS whenever and say you're new, and advertise on the thread that you're looking for more new people on X squad, and you're golden.

I'd totally be down for sort of organizing some weekend hours dedicated for newbies or helping newbies though, if there was enough interest. That'd be pretty sweet

Is this a PC only problem? Because on PS4 it never takes more than a minute on casual, if I see the timer going past the minute mark I just leave and rejoin and it solves the problem.

the 556xi had some unpredictable horizontal wiggle later into its shots, and paired with its jumpy first shot it was nearly impossible to control reliably. The c8 has some crazy high recoil, but ever since they tweaked it long ago it's mostly vertical and possible to adjust for.

That's the UDP-9. That specific weapon is really new, 2015, so I don't know if military or police have started using it yet, but 9mm AR-15 conversions in general have been around for a while.

At launch I think it was just Thermite's rifle.
He uses the civilian version, which in real life only fires in semi-auto and isn't used by any police or military force as far as I know.
After launch, we got the Vector, Deagle, and I think the MPX also isn't used by any military force. I'm sure there are a couple others, but from my knowledge none of those are used.

If they nerf the range then he will still be powerful inside but he won't be able to stop peekers as easily, and I'm sure they mainly intend him to counter peeks.

Parts of the uniform doesn't glow (and they also added an optional "spec ops" uniform that completely blocks ir glow except for the head), the glow is weaker and less detailed and the scope itself has greatly reduced range with thick fog covering everything past that range.

Dear god I hope the next map is interesting. The last few DLC maps have either been dogshit or boring. Skyscraper is just a house unlike the implication of the name. Favela is just a bore and I personally can't stand that map. Coastline is just another big house to me.

there's a reason why the new maps are less varied though, and that's because they pretty much have to include rooms in the new maps that are the same/similar to rooms that were in the base/original maps.

think about it, coastline has multiple bars (there were bars in clubhouse, kafe and chalet), a bedroom (there was a bedroom in house, clubhouse, oregon and chalet), a pool room (found in house), a kitchen (found in house, kafe and oregon), the server room (as found in kanal), a washroom (house, kanal, oregon, chalet and consulate) etc.

they use a bunch of basic room archetypes/themes that they keep constant across all their maps. (servers in border also found in vanilla kanal, strip room/club in favelas can also be found in clubhouse, etc.).

could be either.

something that should be noted is that if you play t-hunt with a squad(or friends) and scan some terrorists with your drone your character will actually give a callout as to where the terrorists are. for example, i was playing on house with a friend to get some challenges done and when i scanned the terrorists in bedroom blitz said "hostiles spotted:master bedroom". so it could be tht they do it to not have to record voice lines (although characters also have generic callous like "hostiles in sight: first floor" - thatcher).

If you're MVP by a very small margin, then it means your team was ballin and had good synergy. Also remember that people can spam marks on drones for points while not really helping as much as someone else.
