I had trouble with all the bosses. I never did the raid when it was relevant so maybe I'm just not understanding mechanics. Tsulong only has 20 million health yet took forever to heal up as a discipline priest. Even when I changed to holy my heals weren't doing nearly enough. Same in his night phase, He was taking so little damage. Is the scaling an option I could have managed turn off somehow?

Healing isn't the same as DPS logs, they can't really be used in the same way.

If you all stand in fire the entire encounter that healer is going to get an orange pass. If all of you avoid every single bit of damage and use defensives perfectly, they'll get a low parse.

Question for people who have done mythic raiding.

Is it actually this super prestigious thing that only the true elite are even able to attempt? Or is it literally just heroic heroic raiding (ie the next logical step up in progression)? Like if our guild could down H-guldan does it stand to reason we could probably take on M-scorp or chromatic?

I only know one guy irl that is/has been a mythic raider and he always acts like its super hardcore like 7 nights a week, a single person stands in 1 tick of fire and its a wipe kind of shit. Like there's no way its THAT hard, r-right?

it's just that hardcore race progression is a prestigous thing, casual groups will either achieve cutting edge in the last week before next tier or not at all and they will clear it when they outgear it in the next tier

So a little while back I was on here getting opinions to try to decide what healer I wanted to roll, between a druid, monk and hpriest.

I decided to go hpriest, and got one from 100 to 110. It has been very fun and easy to learn when to do things and how to manage my mana.

Now I want to try dabbling into the monk healer. I tried druid for a level or two but I kept getting myself oom and stressed out so I moved on to monk.

One thing that concerns me is that I have heard that monks don't have the greatest burst healing and that sometimes their mana is hard to maintain over long fights. What am I in for if I go for a monk? Would I like it if I love priest healing, but am too shitty for druid healing?

Or should I say fuck it and go BrM for shits and giggles?
