Monster Hunter quests are divided into these things called Ranks. Low Rank is usually early village, High Rank is usually either late village or gathering hall. Your endgame gear is High Rank gear. In XX, you'll be fighting G-Rank monsters. Your high rank gear will be as effected against them as a leather armor set is against a lv10 Glavenus.

Im definetly not a big coder, i dont even fucking stand a chance in doing any game, but even in simple programs, a simple change in code may shatter the whole thing, everything is based off other things, like in jenga tower, take one block and try to replace it with another, bigger or smaller or take few too many - whole things fails
In a big game like this, where the code lines are incredibly fucking long, if you change this one thing, it takes an huge amount of work to find because of what it fails
