Team Danganronpa, want to have another killing game, ofc, so they take her to be the next SHSL Survivor.
She ends up escaping her restraints, but is locked inside the TDR studio. At the end of every chapter, you play as her exploring the studio, finding audition videos and more info about everyone pre-mindwipe.
She's not interested in it all, though, and is just trying to find out if Yumeno and Saihara are safe, or if they've been captured as well.

We still don't know what's the real purpose of these killing games, but if it's so important that a representative of Hope and Despair exists I'm thinking the real reason is to mislead the masses into thinking this is a fictional reenactment of Dangan Ronpa that lifts the spirits of the public, when in reality it's more or less a public execution.

The audience viewing things from Kiibo might be the privileged few in that case, perhaps the rich and the powerful.

Generally speaking I feel what Ouma said about a lie deceiving the world becomes reality is important, because such a well-constructed lie has to necessarily incorporate as many parts of the original as possible to actually fool everyone.
