I just bought an Amulet of Zealots. Did I make a mistake or is it worth it? Should I use it if I already have an amulet of souls?

Zealots is great for low intensity stuff like slayer. Only disadvantage is you can't afk tasks with split necklace anymore.

Again, Amulet of Zealots isn't meant for high level bossing, and it's not going to increase accuracy very much. It does provide a +10-20% boost to damage (better than t99 curses), which is why it is the best amulet in the game for slayer, because you will nearly always have 100% accuracy without needing prayers.

Well from what I read it depends on the prayer you use, but I may be misunderstanding it. If you use leech attack, I'm assuming that gets boosted. If you use leech strength, then that will get boosted instead, etc.

Accuracy leeches boost by a numerical value whereas strength leeches boost by percentage. Zealots boosts the effects of a leech curse by 10%, so for leech attack you're only gaining +10% of 5, but for leech strength you're gaining +10% additive to +8%. Using leech defense on top of this can give you enormous boosts to damage, but not very much for accuracy.

For comparison turmoil is only +10%. You can use leech attack, strength and defence at the same time but there's no point if you're already 100% accurate.

Take any slayer task you use turmoil on for increased damage. Instead of using turmoil, use leech strength (and optionally leech defense) for +18% damage boost compared to turmoil's +10%. Can't remember exactly how much leech defense adds to damage on top of this, but I think it was 1-2%. The only important difference here is that leech curses build whereas turmoil just boosts and remains, so you have to remain in combat to stay at the +8% boost for leech strength. If you get out of combat, it goes back down to +2% until you enter combat again for a few seconds.

Basically you're trading +10 attack levels in accuracy for +10% damage. Also, you can use leech defense and leech strength at the same time; both benefit from Zealots.

for some tasks. say darkbeasts.they drop big bones. you can wear a demon horn necklace from Dugneoneering. it'll turn any bones you bury into prayer points.
so if you have a bone crusher in your inv. or on your toolbelt. it'll auto bury the bones and you'll get the prayer points.

so this way if you're killing the dark beasts fast enough you wont even need to bring prayer potions to the task.

Using the legacy interface is fine. If you're talking about combat, it depends on what you're doing. For killing easy shit/most slayer monsters legacy combat will be fine. But higher difficulty enemies it won't cut it.

Unironically no. It wasn't until after Player Owned Ports came out that I realised that RuneScape is a combat based game. About 80 of my Slayer levels are from Tears of Guthix alone, I even got like 90 Ranged just off AFK Soul Wars.

Honestly I am not totally against solo bossing.

I played wow/ffxiv where you need 8 - 20 people for anything end game and that's cool to take on bosses with friends. But solo has its place as well, for starters you feel good instead of being 1 dumb fuck with 19 other dumb fucks. Plus you don't have to schedule your time around other people, it simply can be I want to cleave some shitters tonight. So grab your potions and food and away you go.

Except no, caches are far more interesting than regular divination, people choosing to train it that way is personal choice and a good thing since it means you don't have to bore yourself with the regular shitty divination.

Sounds like you're angry that people don't do the boring, monotonous garbage grinding you enjoy so you call it a fault even though it's an objective improvement.

Also caches give a divination boost every 3 hours which incetivizes regular divination training for 20 minutes, usually gathering energy rather than expending it for exp though.

There's also arc divination.

I want them to make a dg daily or weekly in which the mobs are so strong that you have to get full gear and food/pots to finish the dungeon. XP would be calculated by enemies killed, rooms opened, number of gears crafted in total and food created etc etc. Basically anything that does not incentive rushing and can be done under 20-30 minutes with 4 other people.
