I don't know if I'm going to play Morrowind again in the near future, I just reinstalled so I could get these patches done for the people who wanted them. But if I do play, I'm not going to install a ton of .esp-based mods like I did last time. I'd like to experience the vanilla game's balance for the first time, even if I'm aware it's a fairly unbalanced and unrewarding experience.

Morrowind really shines, even in 2017. I first played it two years ago and that didn't stop me from recognizing all the great things it did.

I mean there aren't many good places in skyrim to take screenshots that look unique so you end up taking them in the same place over and over. The fucking end boss of the vanilla game doesn't even have a boss room so that leaves Vicn's mods, darkend, and maybe a few others to take screens in. I use the Wilds one because it does add some nice wilderness sounds, haven't tried the dungeons one, and I had the Civilization one for a little while before the sounds started to really irritate me in taverns and such. The nice thing is that you can leave some of the sounds off when you set it up ingame though.

When I install it and use a bow and arrow in first person an annoying thing happens where I'll draw the arrow and shoot it to the left of my reticle. What am I doing wrong to make this happen?

Is it a trivial thing to change a staff's particle effects? I can't see what I'm hitting with the staff of magnus and would like to use lightning sparks or something.

I tried asking this last night but couldn't get an answer.

Does anyone know if removing the parallax textures from a mod is enough to disable the parallax effect or do I need to remove the meshes too?

I have textures that I like more than the parallax textures but those textures have no parallax maps. So if I just put them at a higher priority in Mod Organizer they still look messed up in game because it's using a parallax effect that doesn't match the textures.

Is it safe for me to just remove the parallax textures (texturename_p) or will it cause even more problems visually if I don't remove the parallax enabled meshes too?

Just as an example, Vivid Landscapes has farmhouse textures. They have parallax. They're the only farmhouse textures I have that have parallax, but they're lower res than the other ones I have and I'm not particularly fond of them compared to the others even if they were to be the same resolution anyway.

So I'm struggling with deciding whether to just suck it up and use them over the ones I like more or to go through the hassle of trying to figure out exactly what meshes to remove. It would be so much easier if I could just delete the _p textures.

What do I have to save a height map/parallax map as if the original had alpha?

I tried saving it and it warned me the alpha would be lost, so I saved as DXT1 with 1 Bit alpha instead of the usual DXT1 with no alpha and the entire texture was black afterward.

I'm not saying Cumtears is a modicum of incredible, live-saving content. Cumtears has built a reputation for a reason. But no one other than the anonymous shitposters have "cared" this hard about it for this long. I get the whole "fuck you meg no one likes you" mentality, but this isn't that. These posts shit talking Cumtears are just needless bullshit that we're aware of, and it ruins threads.
No avatarfags will fight this hard to keep the Cumtears shitpost train going. The only people that post this negative shit about Cumtears are random anons. And you know why?
