If filtering tripcodes or specific words/phrases will help you with that, go for it.

Let's all just take a step back, take a deep breath, and re-evaluate ourselves and what we want this space to be, and then model ourselves after that. If we do that enough, we can change the atmosphere of this place, little by little.

Olwen is +Spd/-Def. Buffed by Eirika she has 36 Speed, which actually allows her to quadruple attack quite a few enemies, so it's not that bad.

Now with a +Atk/-Spd Reinhardt she's 100% obsolete though and getting benched ASAP.

Don't do that.
The unit you expend for merging gets lost. So if you merge your 3* into the 4*, it's the same 4* unit but they gain SP.
If the units are of the SAME rating, the unit you keep still has the same stats but they gain an extra level that ignores the lvl40 cap.

You're making this difficult. I just got Eliwood, and promoted him to 5*, but with +HP/-Def he isn't as good as he could be. A new, already 5* Eliwood with better, or neutral, IVs would be a-ok. But I don't want Ser/lena, I've got 2 Silvers of her already.

The real question is "Will Minerva EVER get a focus again?" That answer is obviously "no." And aside from Zephiel, Xander who will both be a grand hero battle and Ike/Titania future banners, the #1 unit I want now is Minerva. She's the only one released...she's guaranteed to be 5-Star and has an upcoming focus where she's the only green. I have a Flying team nearly-complete, it's just missing its star player - Minerva.

Literally the best banner for me to roll, but I over rolled to get Eirika last banner and I'm down to 40 orbs. We'll probably get something like another 20 orbs before that banner releases/ends...so I'll almost certainly try to get Minerva and/or duplicate 5* Eliwood. Azura's Sapphire Lance gives her and extra 20% buffer on both Def/Res as well as 20% extra killing power IF YOU EVER, FOR SOME REASON, decide you want your Dancer to attack and not support.
