Depends on enemy comp, but right now AD items are busted like DD + Ravenous giving 150 AD or just going Titanic + Duskblade and Cleaver. Deadman's is always good on her since she has a MS Steroid + E is an auto attack (two but only the first will proc duskblade/dreadnought obviously.)

As strong as Lichbane + Runic + Rocketbelt is, it doesnt give the survivability or the ability to eat squishies that Duskblade + Titanic does.

His early game is kinda shit, it was just less noticable because of rylais. Now that rylais is gone he actually needs time to scale to be comparable to other mid lane mages.

Also viktor's biggest issue has always been the fact that if you play an assassin into him and force him into early defensive items that it just skews his build and shits on him since he needs his upgrade to wave clear where as other mages aren't as dependent on one item as they are flat ap to just match the enemy in the wave clear battle.
